The big issue for all of us is how to deal with the discrepancy between the objective truth that we are connected to all things (including our other-selves and with God), and the consciousness mind’s subjective experience of being separated.

Third density is an experience of separation due to the veil of forgetting.

The by-product of the veil of forgetting is a kind of existential shame, which as Brene Brown’s research points out, is experienced by everyone to some degree unless they are incapable of empathy (2% of the population, i.e. antisocial personality disorder including sociopaths and psychopaths).

I define “Existential Shame”: the feeling that I fundamentally do not belong.

Brene Brown defines shame as: the intense feeling that I am unworthy of love and belonging.

Over the years a few people have reached out to me to ask for help with what they perceive are relentless attacks from negative beings, whether they are negative aliens, demons, or thought forms. I’ve written on related phenomena before, which can be accessed here: Entity Attachments, a Brief Reflection.

What I notice about the life-situation commonalities of the people who contact me regarding their concerns is that they often are generally quite alienated from others, whether physically or emotionally. They feel alone in their battles and their focus has slowly shifted over time to an almost exclusively external locus. Though they may desire to do inner work–and even believe that they are doing inner work–the content of their thinking often exhibits obsession-like qualities about external things that they feel control them.

Informed by the Law of One, I believe that catalysts come to us, drawn by us, to help us awaken to the reality that each moment contains love (ref 10.14). We can increasingly awaken to this reality through consciously choosing to seek more and more just how this is true. Consider the following powerful exchange by Don and Ra in session 95.24:

Archetype of the Experience of the Mind from the Law of One

Questioner: From that statement I interpret the following meaning: That if the Experience of the Mind has sufficiently chosen the right-hand path—as total purity is approached in choosing of the right-hand path—then total imperviousness from the effect of the left-hand catalyst is also approached. Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. This is exquisitely perceptive. The seeker which has purely chosen the service-to-others path shall certainly not have a variant apparent incarnational experience. There is no outward shelter in your illusion from the gusts, flurries, and blizzards of quick and cruel catalyst.

However, to the pure, all that is encountered speaks of the love and the light of the One Infinite Creator. The cruelest blow is seen with an ambiance of challenges offered and opportunities to come. Thusly, the great pitch of light is held high above such a one so that all interpretation may be seen to be protected by light.

I believe that one great way to help our ability to see catalysts in this way that Ra speaks about is to offer up the catalyst as a holy sacrifice so that it is transmuted into the sacramental. In truth, whatever catalyst we perceive and process is already holy and a sacrament but our ability to perceive it thusly allows the holy nature of the catalyst to sink into the roots of our mind. In other words, we awaken more and more to the reality that the catalyst–which is love wrapped up in the moment–is the Creator knocking at the door of our hearts. The reader can delve more deeply into this concept here: The Archetype of Catalyst. Also, see Law of One session 64.4 below.

The following is a redacted email reply to a seeker.

It appears that you really have had a difficult incarnation, both physically and emotionally.  I bow to your resilience and your heart which reveals that you desire to continue the good fight.

May I say that for a soul as sensitive and advanced as yours may be, it is less important to focus upon the external locus of control and instead, balance love and wisdom in an internal manner.  By doing good inner work, we automatically create protection from outer influences (alien, demonic, or negative thoughtforms).

Fear not having fear. Use the fear as an opportunity to hold inner space for love that each moment contains, even if it is outside the reach of our conscious minds.  Trust and faith are the purview of the adept (ref 54.31). Therefore, trust that the moment contains love (10.14) and seek it consciously so that you increase in your ability to view yourself, your world around you, and your struggles from a greater understanding which would be likened to widening the focus of a camera’s lens to capture more holistically that which is present.

It is metaphysically true that negative entities cannot create something new in you but only enhance that which is already present.  This is why doing good inner work and moving our locus of scrutiny of that which causes us emotional pain from external sources to the internal imbalances which are the epicenters of our pain.

I invite you to keep in the forefront of your consciousness that the One Infinite Creator of which you are a part is relationality, itself. That is, seek the One Infinite Creator and ask that your heart be enkindled by the Creator’s compassion and solidarity which assuages anxiety and alienation. In other words, even though we ARE God, it doesn’t mean we can’t RELATE to God.  Such is the nature of Reality.  The Creator eternally transcends us, incarnates as us, and dwells within us.

Finally, as the Ra group repeated various times, I invite you to accept as fully as you are able the fact that LOVE is the great protector. Surround yourself with an armor of light/love (ref 46.2), and continue in loving, praising, and expressing gratefulness to the Creator (63.5).

63.5: Continue in love, and praise, and thanksgiving to the Creator. Love is the great protector.

64.21 As always, love is the greatest protection.

91.38 […] continual fidelity of the group to the ideals of harmony and thanksgiving. This shall be your great protection.

Peace and goodness,
Doug

64.4 Questioner: Thank you. Could you explain the basic principles behind the ritual which we perform to initiate the contact and what I would call the basic white magical rituals—principles of protection and other principles? Could you please do this?

Ra: I am Ra. Due to your avenue of question we perceive the appropriateness of inclusion of the cause of this instrument’s transitory vital-energy distortion. The cause is a bias towards the yearning for expression of devotion to the One Creator in group worship.

This entity was yearning for this protection both consciously in that it responds to the accoutrements of this expression, the ritual, the colors and their meanings as given by the distortion system of what you call the church, the song of praise, and the combined prayers of thanksgiving, and, most of all, that which may be seen to be most centrally magical: the intake of that food which is not of this dimension, but has been transmuted into metaphysical nourishment in what this distortion of expression calls the Holy Communion.

The subconscious reason, it being the stronger for this yearning, was the awareness that such expression is—when appreciated by an entity as the transmutation into the presence of the One Creator—a great protection of the entity as it moves in the path of service to others.

The principle behind any ritual of the white magical nature is to so configure the stimuli which reach down into the trunk of mind that this arrangement causes the generation of disciplined and purified emotion, or love, which then may be both protection and the key to the gateway to intelligent infinity.

  1. Hello! I was just listening to this episode on your podcast and I’m very curious to know the name of the practice magic book that the gentleman taking the traditional western magic course learned an in-depth description of the lesser banishing ritual of the pentagram. It was stated that it would be put in the library of slack, but I am not seeing a link to that website. Would you mind either providing that or simply the title of the book? Thank you so much! I really enjoy your work!

    1. Hi Jennifer! Thank you for your comments and I am honored that you find my material interesting. I got all three of your comments. I asked the group, Building 4th, if anybody remembered making that remark. I think I know who it was and I sent him an email. When he replies, I’ll get back to you. In the meantime, if you have any thoughts or questions, or wanting to engage our material more, feel free to reach out. You’re welcome to email me at doug@cosmicchrist.net

  2. This is my third attempt to leave a comment, so I hope it goes through this time. I was just listening to this episode on your podcast and I’m very curious to know the name of the book that’s a gentleman taking the Western magical traditions course had been reading that describes an in-depth description of the lesser banishing ritual of the pentagram. It was stated that it would be put in the slack library but I don’t see a link for this. I also don’t think I would know what to look for. Would you mind providing a link to where I could find this or provide the name of the book? Thank you so much! I really enjoy your work!
