[Notes from a Building 4th gathering, where I offer a speculation about what happened when two orders of magnitude fell in love with each other — and why Earth, of all places, is where it had to happen.]

The pattern underneath everything
Start with something small enough to hold.
Two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom exist as three separate things. They come together and become one water molecule — and the whole universe is now increased by one molecule. Two people exist as two. They marry, and there is one couple where before there were none, and the civilization is increased by one family. Alfred North Whitehead gave this its name: concrescence, growing together. His formulation is the one I keep returning to — the many become one, and are increased by one.
Science shows this. Process philosophy shows this. And the Law of One has it plainly: the billions on Terra seek to become one social memory complex, and when that happens, the Confederation is increased by one member — a Terran planetary entity in fourth density.
Here is where I want to push. We tend to think about this horizontally. The galaxy as a horizontal community of beings. The solar Logoi as a horizontal community. Mind/body/spirit complexes as a horizontal community. I affirm all of that. I also think it goes vertically — across orders of magnitude — and that the Jesus Christ event was a oneing of two such orders: the sub-sub-Logoic level, which is us, which is Terra, and the sub-Logoic level, which is our sun.

Why any of this complexity in the first place
I made a chart to hold the Law of Three: two contrasting forces generate a tension, and that tension resolves either at the status quo level or at a higher grade, which inaugurates a new arising. The many become one and are increased by one, and the spiral turns.
Underneath and before everything sits the Creator’s constant desire — to know the self, to know the self more, to know the self better. That desire precedes the Creator’s own self-knowledge in a sense. It is the cosmic thrust.
Billions of years ago, that thrust ran into a problem. Third-density beings existed without the veil. They remembered they were the Creator. No fear was too great, no love too great. Everything in monochrome. Ra’s description of what that produced is unsparing: “such conditions created the situation of a most pallid experiential nexus in which lessons were garnered with the relative speed of the turtle to the cheetah” (Ra, 82.18). Those societies could be highly advanced technologically, because manifestation is easy in a state of constant potential inspiration. What they lacked, Ra says, was “will or, to use a more plebeian term, gusto, or élan vital” (Ra, 82.19).
Were they free? Genuine free will requires real uncertainty. Without the possibility of misunderstanding, there isn’t much evolution. So the Creator’s push kept pressing through beings who had no reason to move. Why go to university when the trust fund is already yours?
The status quo resolution was to keep recycling entities and extending the timelines. Turtle speed. And then one Logos — Ra doesn’t specify which, and I won’t pretend to know — imagined a veil placed between the conscious and unconscious mind, semi-permeable, each held in mystery relative to the other. Third density immediately intensified. Polarization appeared where it had been latent and unimagined. It worked so well that the entire creation adopted it, and third density became the axis upon which the whole enterprise turns. Fourth, fifth, and sixth densities are refinements of the one choice made here, behind the veil.
That was the first breakthrough. Hold it, because the second one rhymes.
The second logjam, and why it is here
Run an experiment long enough and you eventually arrive at the far side of it.
Earth is a planet of third-density repeaters. Many, many times over. And the structures we’ve built here — including the spiritual institutions built in good faith — are largely mired inside what I’ve come to call the Great BASH: the collective thought form generated by our inefficient use of bellicosity. Every time a catalyst arrives and we respond by projecting anger outward, we feed it. The myth of redemptive violence — if we just eliminate those people over there — feeds it. And so does the intrapersonal version, the instinct to hate and repress the parts of myself I’d rather not process, forgive, or understand.
All of that accumulates into an energetic logjam. We created it, and now it creates us — the way we created social media and social media is busy creating us.
Here’s the trap in its most elegant form. I can attend church every Sunday, confess daily, feel entirely pure, and hate Muslims, or Jews, or Iranians. My institution affirms me while I reject universal love. Rising within the structure — to bishop, or to counselor, and I’ll pick on myself here — offers no exit. It can deepen the enmeshment while producing the sensation of freedom.
Ra says the Confederation sees us as one being: the planetary entity Terra, of which our self-aware layer is one membrane among the biosphere, atmosphere, and geosphere. We sit inside a region bathed in green-ray energy, and we’re supposed to be harvesting into fourth density. Instead, they observe an orange-ray overlay on a green-ray entity. Ra’s mechanism for this is precise: entities feeling true-color green respond by rejecting societal activity and seeking the self again, but “not having developed the yellow ray properly so that it balances the personal vibratory rates of the entity, the entity then is faced with the task of further activation and balancing of the self in relation to the self, thus the orange-ray manifestations at this space/time nexus” (Ra, 41.14).
Orange ray is the seat of self-identity — for a person, and for a planetary entity. We haven’t yet said, collectively, this is who we are and this is what we want. We should be graduating high school. We keep repeating first grade.
From the fourth-density perspective, this is a problem. From the perspective of the solar Logos, which has its own lifespan and its own mind, body, and spirit to develop — it is exactly what was required.
Yahweh, and a Logos learning to be a parent
Ra tells us that Yahweh was a Guardian, and describes the transfer of the Martian population here after their atmosphere failed: “a combination of the mind/body/spirit complexes of those of your so-called Red Planet and a careful series of genetical adjustments made by the Guardians of that time” (Ra, 9.7). Yahweh took those souls into itself — into a social memory complex — and felt an affinity toward them, then set them down here in more capable human bodies.
Later came the genetic work with the Anak, roughly 3,600 years ago, entities made “larger and stronger” (Ra, 18.20). Ra’s assessment of the outcome is blunt: “The ones of Yahweh were attempting to create an understanding of the Law of One by creating mind/body/spirit complexes capable of grasping the Law of One. The experiment was a decided failure from the view of the desired distortions” — because rather than assimilating the Law of One, the group was tempted to see itself as elite (Ra, 18.21). That opening was precisely what the Orion group needed.
My speculation — and I want to be clear that this is my interpretive synthesis, not something Ra states — is that Yahweh is our solar Logos. A mind/body/spirit complex at stellar scale, growing up. We are its creatures. We are also its creators. Whitehead said the same thing from a different direction: God creates us, and we create God.
Look at the sequence as a curriculum. Venus first — so overwhelmingly positive that Ra describes them acting almost as though there were no veil at all. The positive path is the path of wholeness, and wholeness is how a solar Logos already knows itself: I am one, I am unity. Then Maldek — total self-destruction. There’s the other pole, delivered as catalyst. Then Mars, where Yahweh moves from environmental provision into something like personal guardianship, taking wounded children into its own body. That’s parental love waking up.
And then Earth, where every previous thread converges, and where Yahweh’s naïveté runs out of road. The attempts to strengthen and manipulate came from genuine love. They also came from a being that has never known life behind a veil, applying structural solutions to an experiential problem.
Ra gives us the reason this limitation exists, and it’s the passage that reorganizes everything for me: “The sub-Logos offers the catalyst at the lower levels of energy, the first triad; these have to do with the survival of the physical complex. The higher centers gain catalyst from the biases of the mind/body/spirit complex itself in response to all random and directed experiences” (Ra, 54.17).
Red, orange, yellow. That’s the extent of what a solar Logos can provide. Once a third-density being activates the heart center and begins working from the higher chakras, the direction of teaching reverses. Our local god is like white light — all things, with no experience of being white light, because there is no contrast. We are its capacity to feel contrast. We are, at that point, its parent.
This is why Ra’s framing of the relationship matters so much: the connection between a solar Logos and a mind/body/spirit complex is “not the relationship of parent to child but of Creator, that is Logos, to Creator that is the mind/body/spirit complex, as Logos” (Ra, 65.16). Creator to Creator. The way up is down. By incarnating more fully, we ascend.
Ra then describes Yahweh taking stock of its own vibratory patterns and becoming, in effect, a more eloquently effective sound vibration complex. The name changes. YHWH becomes YHSVH — the letter Shin, fire and transformation, inserted into the divine name. One way to hold that transformation, and I offer it as one way among several: I am that I am, now incarnating as you.
And on the veiled side of things, at roughly the same period, a people is developing the Emmanuel thought form. God with us. Two yearnings reaching toward each other across orders of magnitude. And what do two beings do when they yearn? They move toward consummation.
The Christ event as vertical concrescence
Ra describes the entity we call Jesus as a wanderer of no name, of Confederation origins, of the highest sub-octave of fourth density — one who could have gone on to fifth and chose instead to return to third for this mission, to share the love vibration as purely as possible (Ra, 17.11–17.12). And later: this entity “became aware that it was not an entity of itself but operated as a messenger of the One Creator, whom this entity saw as Love” (Ra, 17.22).
A messenger, not an entity of itself. An emptied vessel — and here is the part that matters — one whose personality did not dissolve.
That’s the new thing. A co-presencing. The Logos and the entity Jesus occupying one body in a dynamic dance of love, sustained by a yes given moment by moment. This was no walk-in, where one personality steps aside so another can occupy the vehicle. It was constant co-participation. The Greek fathers had a word for mutual indwelling of this kind: perichoresis, the divine dance. Chalcedon later gave us the formula — fully divine and fully human. Both are pointing at the same event from different angles: the fullness of the solar Logos inhabiting a third-density vessel that remained awake, sentient, and choosing.
Richard Rohr, my spiritual father, wrote a line his friend Bono loved so much he thought it should have been the book’s title: God loves things by becoming them. That’s a process statement, whether or not either of them framed it that way. Love unites, and the union produces a new one. The many become one and are increased by one — and it was always going to happen vertically as well as horizontally.
Ra’s teaching on the crux ansata gives this its shape: “The crux ansata is to be seen as an image of the eternal in and through manifestation, and beyond manifestation, through the sacrifice and transformation of that which is manifest” (Ra, 93.24). And in the following session: “There is no experience which is not purchased by effort of some kind — no act of service to self or others which does not bear a price to the entity manifesting, commensurate with its purity. All things in manifestation may be seen in one way or another to be offering themselves in order that transformations may take place” (Ra, 94.26).
Loss and renewal. Loss and renewal. Every renewal increased by one. The two hydrogen atoms and the one oxygen atom die to their individuation and rise as a molecule — a unity that preserves diversity rather than erasing it into uniformity.
So: don’t think of Jesus as a person cleaning up a mess. Think of the Jesus Christ event — in my book I count twelve components that had to converge, including the veil itself, including the accumulated Terran complexity, including a solar Logos ready to receive what it had never known. Conventional Christianity gives us a mop-up operation. What I’m describing is a consummation.
The seed inside the eye
Picture the Great BASH as something like the eye of Sauron. And picture, planted right in the middle of it at a higher level, an emerald-green seed form: the forgiveness thought form.
Ra’s teaching on this is direct — Jesus was karmically absolved of an early destruction of an other-self in his last hours, speaking from the cross: Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do. “In forgiveness lies the stoppage of the wheel of action, or what you call karma” (Ra, 17.20). And forgiveness of the other-self is forgiveness of self; a full forgiveness is impossible without including the self (Ra, 18.12).
Every time any of us works to understand ourselves and one another — through acceptance, forgiveness, balancing, opening to more love — that seed grows as one corpus. And eventually the Great BASH, which we made and which has been our bane, takes its bow. My job is done. I catalyzed you enough. You finally stopped pointing the finger and saying: you are not me. The accuser belongs to the design. Having grappled with it rather than projected it, we can move.
What becomes available on the far side of that isn’t philosophy. This material is extremely esoteric, and almost nobody needs it. The fullness of the One Infinite Creator becomes accessible through chosen relationship — through co-presencing, co-participating, co-creating. Pan-sacramentalism: God in us and us in God, all of it, everywhere. Ra places the sacramental nature at the violet ray, the sum of the whole complex. We become co-creators with God, in God, through God, as God — intentionally. Some call this the Christification of the universe.
Something new happened through the complexity of Terra. It reached the solar Logos, and through the solar Logos the galactic Logoi, and through them the primal Logos, and through that, the Creator. Our unblocking unblocks the Creator’s process. That’s the claim.

We take a couple of deep breaths here. Begin to feel into the body, and how the body is being held up by the chair. See if you can place your consciousness inside our group soul, through the heart. Feel into the Building 4th group soul. It is something we have made and created, and it is a part of us, and it is also creating us — especially when we enter into it with intention and love on Tuesday nights.
And while inside the group soul, look back at your body. When you are inside the group soul, you feel a unity with everyone here, and then you can intuit your own body, kind of over there. You are both of these things. With practice, one can learn to transpose consciousness even further.
From this place of unity, we bless our group. We bless all of those who might listen to this. And we bless the earth. May whatever is discussed here be for the highest and greatest good.

A word before I begin
What I want to share tonight is admittedly speculative, and I want that on the record before I say anything else.
It is a speculation I make drawing on the Ra Material, on Christian mystical life, and on what we might think of as the perennial tradition — and I hope that becomes clearer as we go along. I am going to make some claims that stand in line with the Law of One teaching, with Ra’s teaching, and then I am going to go through them. I hope not to depart from them. I want to go through them to see what might be happening in the evolution of our social memory complex, Terra.
I will be referring to Earth as Terra throughout. We make up the body of Terra. And what I want to trace is not only our own evolution, but the evolution of the solar Logos itself, and through the solar Logos, the entire Creator.
Yes, this is a grandiose claim. I know it. But I am not alone in it, and I would like to hear your thoughts. I am not claiming to be right. If it is interesting and it resonates, chew on it.
I put this slideshow together in about ten minutes, so I am apologizing preemptively.
The many become one, and are increased by one
We are told by the Law of One that the Creator grows in intensity, that the Creator seeks to know itself through infinite variety.
And we are taught by science — this is science here on Earth — that all things follow a pattern in which the many, whatever many happens to be, become one. And then the whole enterprise is increased by one.
Take my wife and me. Before we met each other, we were many — two people. We become one. That is one couple, a singularity. And then the whole civilization is increased by one couple. What was many now becomes one, and then one family.
Another way to look at it: three separate atoms, two hydrogen and one oxygen. The many become one water molecule. And the whole universe is now increased by one molecule.
So the many become one and are increased by one.
That is the pattern Alfred North Whitehead identified in process philosophy. It is his definition of concrescence — growing together. Everything is growing together.
Science shows this. Philosophy shows this. And I think the Law of One has it pretty clearly. To take a Law of One example: the many billions on Terra seek to become one social memory complex. Then the whole Confederation is increased by one member — a new social memory complex joining the Confederation, the Terran planetary entity in fourth density.
The many become one and are increased by one.
Horizontal and vertical
Here is what I would like to offer.
We have been thinking horizontally in the Law of One, and thinking horizontally a lot. We think of the galaxy as a kind of horizontal group of beings. Then the solar Logoi, the sub-Logoi, as a horizontal group of beings. And then the sub-sub-Logoi as a horizontal group of beings.
I am affirming all of that. And I think it also goes vertically.
What I mean is this. By the end of tonight, I hope to show — at least as my speculation — that the Jesus Christ event was a oneing, a unification of two orders of magnitude. The sub-sub-Logoic level, which is what we are, which is Terra. And the sub-Logoic level, the solar Logos. There was a oneing here.
Consider why that would be needed. It is enough, on third density, for us third-density beings to evolve, or develop, or be given the catalyst to develop very quickly, because it is so intense here with the veil of forgetting. But there also has to be a way in which the Logos itself evolves — beings that have never known the veil of forgetting. The primal Logos. The galactic Logos. The sub-Logoi, the stars. They have never known veiled experience.
So how do you get a catalyst big enough, strong enough, to actually change the trajectory and broaden the evolution of that level of Logos?
I am going to argue that the Jesus Christ event did both. And that Earth is unique in the universe.
Let me be careful there. I do not think we are ontologically unique. I think all third density is equal. It is all God. But somewhere, at some point, things have to get complicated enough that the Logos itself, in trying to understand itself, comes to a dilemma. And I am going to argue that this is what has happened here, in Terra’s third-density experience.
Before we get there, we have to look at why all this complexity exists in the first place.
The Law of Three
This chart is one I created to depict the Law of Three. There are two contrasting forces that give rise to a tension. And that tension can be resolved at two levels. It can be resolved at the status quo level, or it can be resolved at a higher grade — which then inaugurates a new movement, a new one. The many become one and are increased by one, moving up a spiral of evolution.
Let me read the chart out loud.
First and foremost, below everything and beyond everything, is the Creator’s constant desire to know the self, to know the self more, to know the self better. That is a push that precedes the Creator itself, in a sense. That instinct — to know the self, to know the self more, to know the self better — is the cosmic thrust of evolution.
Then we have the contrasting forces, which the Creator started to feel a few billion years ago, when there were third-density beings who did not experience the veil.
The first logjam: third density before the veil
Picture the level of consciousness where plants and animals come to self-awareness — somewhere else in the galaxy, many billions of years ago. Very Star Wars-esque. Far, far away.
As a third-density being there, you have transparent unity. Entities remember that they are the Creator. No fear is too great, no love is too great. Everything is in monochrome, Ra says.
On the other hand — were they really free? True, genuine choice, real free will, requires real uncertainty. And Ra says that without the veil there was really no way of misunderstanding something. Without misunderstanding something, there is not a lot of evolution.
So look at the tension that created. On one side, this constant desire of the Creator to know itself. On the other, a population of beings who remember that they are the Creator, being required by that same push — the Creator’s push in and through them — to continue to evolve. And they do not want to evolve.
Why would you? If you are the son or daughter of billionaires, why would you go to the university? The trust fund is already coming. You know what is required, but the polarization to go forward is missing.
Ra’s own description of those conditions is unsparing. He calls it “a most pallid experiential nexus in which lessons were garnered with the relative speed of the turtle to the cheetah” (82.18). And what was lacking, Ra says, was “will or, to use a more plebeian term, gusto, or élan vital” (82.19).
That was the tension. Turtle-speed density. Knowing itself blocked the intensity needed. There just was not much desire to grow.
And the status quo resolution was to keep having entities recycle, more and more, and to extend the timelines. No polarization.
The veil, and the axis of creation
Until — Ra says — one Logos out there. Was it a galactic Logos? A solar Logos within a galaxy? We are not sure. Ra does not specify. But one Logos intuited, began to imagine, what it would be like to have a veil of forgetting placed between the conscious and the unconscious mind at the level of third density. Semi-permeable, so that the conscious mind and the unconscious mind are held in mystery relative to one another.
It is a mystery. And what happens is that immediately, from the experience of third density, things intensify. Things begin to polarize. It quickly becomes a hundred percent more complex and intense than any of the other densities.
It was so revolutionary that Ra says it became the axis upon which the entire creation turns. The whole project of the Creator’s knowing itself is now centered within third density. The rest of the densities — fourth, fifth, sixth — are refinements of that one choice. The choice of the positive or the negative. Service to self or service to others. That happens in third-density veiled experience.
It was a breakthrough. It inaugurated an entirely new way for the Creator to understand itself. And the entire universe then began to fall in line and experience third density behind the veil.
Such was the catalyst of that.
The periodic table of consciousness
Now here is an interesting thing. Ra says there were many, many, many experiments to continue to intensify things. And finally they landed on the most articulated and most intense arrangement — which is something we are not going to get into tonight, but it is the system of seven archetypes for the mind, seven for the body, seven for the spirit. Really it is twenty-one archetypes. So, the tarot, plus the Choice, or the Fool, as the twenty-second.
I like to call the archetypes the periodic table of consciousness, instead of the periodic table of elements. It is what goes into creating the most complex and articulated way of consciousness coming to understand itself and then progressing forward.
The second logjam: Terra
Well — if you run an experiment long enough, eventually you get to the other side of it. The horseshoe comes around.
The logoic tension that caused a Logos, a solar Logos or something, to feel we have got to do something — the Creator in and through us and as us, there is a logjam here in third density — that logjam was broken by the veil of forgetting.
All right. But at some point things are going to get so complex that the complexity itself starts to mimic that same logjam. The same turtle speed.
And I am saying that that place, that epicenter, is Terra.
It has got to be somewhere. Just as it was somewhere that some Logos began to discern the veil of forgetting, the same thing applies here. It has got to be somewhere in the universe where some Logos begins to discern how to break through the logjam that we now find ourselves in.
What do I mean by a logjam? The Terran experience is uniquely complicated. We are a planet of third-density repeaters — many, many, many, many times over. And the institutions we have built here, even the spiritual institutions, even the ones built in good faith, are mired inside what I have come to call the Great BASH.
Some of you have heard me say this before. The Great BASH is my name for the thought form we have created out of our inefficient use of bellicosity — our inefficient use of catalyst. Whenever we are invited to react to a catalyst and we do so by projecting our anger at somebody else. The myth of redemptive violence: if we just kill that group of people over there.
And it operates inside us personally as well. Not only interpersonally but intrapersonally. If I do not like something about myself, I am just going to repress it. That is the same equivalent instinct — to kill it, to hate on that part of myself, rather than process it and forgive it and understand it.
All of these things begin to create an energetic consciousness logjam. And that logjam is a sentient being. We created it, and it begins to create us.
Here is an example. I could go to church every single Sunday, go to confession every single day, feel like I am pure — and hate on Muslims. Hate on Jews. Hate on Iranians. We are the chosen people, we are the best. I might be affirmed inside my institution, and I am definitely rejecting universal love, and therefore it is a further enmeshment inside what I am calling the Great BASH.
Again: a Terran-sized planetary entity, a collective thought form that we have created, and that is creating us. It is not unlike social media, if you want to think of it that way. We created social media. And is it not true that social media is creating us too?
How they see us: orange ray on a green-ray planet
When Ra looks at our collective, they see us as one united being. They see the planetary entity Terra, of which we are the self-aware membrane.
But we are only the membrane. There is also the biosphere, the atmosphere, the geosphere. Those are all different spheres marking evolutionary points in this one organism called Terra.
And when they see us, they see us bathed inside green-ray energy, because we have moved into a region of our galactic Logos that bathes us in it. Green-ray energy is coming from everywhere, and it catalyzes, and we are supposed to move right into harvest, into fourth density.
But we have been stuck back in first grade when we should be graduating from high school. We have been repeating first grade — second grade, maybe — for seventy-five thousand years.
So Ra says that when they see us, they see an orange-ray overlay on a green-ray entity. That orange-ray overlay is an indication of our stuckness, of where we are actually stuck.
Ra’s account of the mechanism runs this way: entities feeling true-color green respond by rejecting societal activity and seeking the self again, and “not having developed the yellow ray properly so that it balances the personal vibratory rates of the entity, the entity then is faced with the task of further activation and balancing of the self in relation to the self, thus the orange-ray manifestations at this space/time nexus” (41.14).
Orange ray is the seat of self-identity — the chakra of individual identity — whether at the micro level, you and me, or at the macro level, the one planetary entity Terra that we all make up. If Terra were one person, that is the center in question. And we have not yet come to a place where we are saying, as a collective: we know who we are, and this is what we want.
From the perspective of fourth density, that is a problem. We are supposed to be graduating and we are still going on recess.
But from the perspective of the solar Logos — because our sun is on its own lifespan, it is also developing mind, body, and spirit — it is not a problem at that level. In fact, this is what is required.
What the Law of Three looks like here
So here is what the chart looks like on Terra.
Underneath, as always, the Creator’s constant desire to know the self more and better. That ever-present throb, pushing up.
And then the contrasting forces. On one side: the veil, harvest, intense catalyst, genuine free will. On the other: the accumulated thought forms that thicken the field. We have the veil, and everything about it is supposed to intensify the catalyst — and on the other side everything is so thick that it has ground to a halt.
That creates a tension. The turtle speed returns. People are repeating incarnations, probably millions of them, exactly as they were prior to the veil. Stuckness with no way out — because even the institutions we create to affirm us are themselves created by, and for, and inside of the Great BASH. You can rise to the level of a bishop, maybe. Or a counselor — I will pick on myself — and still be enmeshed inside that Great BASH while thinking you are free of it.
Just look at our world.
So it is a problem on this side of the veil. And it is not a problem from the larger view. I am arguing that this is precisely the condition that made something new necessary.
What was needed
We needed one. We needed somebody from our side of things. We needed a singular person to say, in the name of the group, as one of the group: I am going to do something different. To break through the collective thought form of the Great BASH, and to introduce, in seed form, what I am going to call the forgiveness thought form.
So there needed to be one person who was a human, a third-density human, under the veil, to choose a different way.
And on the other side, that one person also needed to choose to channel its version of God — which is pure love — so intensely that it opened a portal for the solar Logos to come inside.
The entity we are going to call Jesus was, Ra says, a recent graduate of fourth density moving on to fifth. And prior to going on to fifth density, this entity came and became a message. A messenger.
Ra’s language is that this entity “became aware that it was not an entity of itself but operated as a messenger of the One Creator, whom this entity saw as Love” (17.22).
So here we have a messenger who is not an entity in and of itself. Something new. More than a third-density entity serving as a wanderer — an empty vessel, in a sense, so that the Logos could come through.
And the personality of Jesus did not dissolve.
There was a new thing, and this is what I think was inaugurated. A co-presencing. Both the Logos and the entity Jesus co-present in the same body, in a dynamic dance of love.
That was the actual word chosen by the early church fathers in Turkey. They called it perichoresis, which means the divine dance. It is another way to say that Jesus is fully divine and fully human — the fully divine part being the fullness of the solar Logos inhabiting this third-density vessel, even as that third-density vessel itself remained sentient, with Jesus making the choice to channel moment by moment.
That yes was required moment by moment. It was not a walk-in, where the entity Jesus’s personality is set aside so that the fullness of the Logos comes in. It was a constant yes and co-participation.
That is the new thing.
Yahweh
Now, this is where I am going to get in trouble with some of you, and maybe rightly so. One of our members has a very different way of understanding Yahweh, and — well, you are probably right and I am wrong. I will say it that way.
What does Ra say about Yahweh?
Ra says Yahweh was a social memory complex who was a guardian of the race of Mars. The Martian guardian. And when they blew off their planet, Yahweh took the Martian souls into themselves as a social memory complex, and felt an affinity toward these souls.
Then, when Earth became a third-density planet proper, ready to host third-density lessons, Yahweh dropped these Martian souls off into more advanced human bodies. Ra describes the population here as “a combination of the mind/body/spirit complexes of those of your so-called Red Planet and a careful series of genetical adjustments made by the Guardians of that time” (9.7).
At that point the bodies were more advanced. Think of Homo sapiens versus Homo erectus, or the Neanderthals. A slightly larger capacity to conceptualize abstract thinking, maybe. A slightly more efficient way to use thumbs and gripping. The body became frailer — we know that — but that seems to be part of third density.
God loves things by becoming them
Richard Rohr, as you all know, is my spiritual father. He wrote a line in The Universal Christ — and if you have not read that book, I definitely invite you to — that his friend Bono loved so much that Bono told him he should have just called the book that instead.
The line is: God loves things by becoming them.
That is a process statement. It is a statement of process philosophy. I know Bono did not recognize it as such, and neither did Richard. But it really is. Remember: the many become one and are increased by one.
And remember that we usually see this take place within the horizontal bandwidth. Take a simple prokaryotic cell, without a nucleus. It hangs out with another prokaryotic cell. These cells keep company for a thousand years or so, and through a symbiotic relationship a membrane forms around them, and they become a eukaryotic cell — filled with organelles that used to be, back in evolution, other prokaryotic cells. Now there is a community together in one organism, a more complex cell, a cell with a nucleus.
That takes place horizontally, in second density.
But what we are talking about tonight is different orders of magnitude. The solar Logos level plus the sub-sub-Logoic level.
We are not different from the solar Logos. We are the solar Logos, experiencing ourselves in a more complex way than the solar Logos ever could.
In fact, let me be shocking here. The solar Logos — our local god, in quotation marks — knows itself as complete unity, and does not understand complexity at all. Compared to you and me, we are, in a way, a whole lot more capable of wisdom, or even of love, because at the solar Logos level it is not a choice.
What I am trying to say is that the Creator’s own push — to have the many become one and be increased by one — operates not only at horizontal levels but at vertical ones. It was always and everywhere going to happen: the solar Logos becomes a third-density being. Not merely in its body, but in its full sentient mind.
Because that is what love does. Love unites, and then becomes a new one.
Venus, Maldek, Mars
So Ra says Yahweh developed an affinity for those Martians, and then really wanted to build them up so that they could teach the other third-density beings the Law of One — to move spiritual evolution along on planet Earth.
Why would Yahweh want to do that?
Here is my speculation. I think it is because Yahweh is the solar Logos. A mind/body/spirit complex called Yahweh. And Yahweh is growing up. We are its creatures, and we are also its creators.
Whitehead said the same thing: God creates us, and we create God. I am saying the same thing Whitehead is.
Now — if we are thinking about a psychospiritual evolution as a solar Logos, you first have to see what happens within your body at the third-density level.
What was the first third-density experience inside our Logos? Ra says it was them. The Venusians. And they were so positive, so overwhelmingly positive, that Ra says they were basically acting as if there were no veil at all — almost as naive and as positive as entities were before the veil was ever installed.
My speculation is that they were among the first to arise post-veil. But regardless, that did not teach Yahweh much. The positive path is the path of wholeness, and wholeness is already how the solar Logos understands itself: I am one. I am unity.
Then the next one was Maldek. And Maldek was the exact opposite. It blew itself up. Total destruction.
That provided a nice little catalyst for the solar Logos. Well — crap. But do you see that this is a polarity? A perfectly positive experience within yourself, Venus. And then the exact opposite, total destruction, in Maldek.
So Mars emerges as the next experience in chronological order. And here we have Yahweh becoming a personal guardian. You might say this was Yahweh’s step closer to incarnating as one of the third-density beings. There was a mingling — Ra says there was a mingling. Yahweh took in the Martians, who had blown up their atmosphere halfway through their own third-density experience.
Can you feel the love and the naivete at the same time? The wanting to do good. Yahweh, with its creatures who are simultaneously its parents. It gets strange, and paradoxical, but that is what happens when we are talking about interordinal evolution rather than horizontal evolution.
And then the next stage was Earth. And Yahweh kept trying to genetically manipulate these Martians so that they would be stronger than the others. Ra records the attempt with the Anak, and the outcome: “The ones of Yahweh were attempting to create an understanding of the Law of One by creating mind/body/spirit complexes capable of grasping the Law of One. The experiment was a decided failure from the view of the desired distortions” — because rather than assimilating the Law of One, the group was tempted into seeing itself as elite (18.21).
Why strengthen them? So that they could eventually teach everyone the Law of One and evolve.
But do you see the naivete Yahweh experienced as the solar Logos, never having understood what it is like to be inside the veil?
The limit of the sub-Logos
Here is an interesting thing, and I believe it is session 54 or 55.
Ra says that the solar Logos can only provide catalyst for the lower three chakras. The exact language: “The sub-Logos offers the catalyst at the lower levels of energy, the first triad; these have to do with the survival of the physical complex. The higher centers gain catalyst from the biases of the mind/body/spirit complex itself in response to all random and directed experiences” (54.17).
Red, orange, yellow. That is the extent of it.
But once a third-density being activates the heart chakra and begins operating from the higher chakras — that is where we become its parent. Because the solar Logos cannot move in that direction. It has already activated everything, and has no wisdom.
It is like white light. White light is all things, without the experience of being white light, because there is no contrast. We are its capacity to feel and understand contrast.
There is no need to go up. It is all down. By incarnating more and more fully, we actually ascend. It does not work the other way around.
And we are also the teachers of the solar Logos.
This is why the axis is here. The axis upon which the entire creation turns is third density, veiled. The Creator is learning here. The very far edges of its most complex, avant-garde areas are right here in Terra.
Ra puts the relationship itself in these terms: it is “not the relationship of parent to child but of Creator, that is Logos, to Creator that is the mind/body/spirit complex, as Logos” (65.16).
Yahweh takes stock
Ra says that eventually Yahweh takes stock of its interventions. It is a little like Yahweh saying, dude, this is not working. Maybe I should take stock.
And Yahweh becomes Yod-Heh-Shin-Vav-Heh.
One way to translate that — I am not saying it is the right way, but one way — is: I am that I am, that is now incarnating as you.
We see Yahweh from Yahweh’s side, the solar-logoic side, the sun side, intuiting: I am that I am, and that is incarnating as you.
And right at that time, on the veiled side of things, in third density — what do we have? We have the Emmanuel thought form. Emmanuel comes from the Jewish tradition: God is with us.
So you could almost say that Yod-Heh-Shin-Vav-Heh is I am that I am, with you. That is the aha moment. That is the new energetic, the new self-gnosis of Yahweh, of the solar Logos: I am that I am, with you.
And at the same time, the people as a whole are responding — by feeling into it, by having this relationship with this Creator, this Yahweh — as you are who you are, and you are with us.
Do you see? It is the same dance. It is a vertical dance. A parent giving to a child, and the child then becoming teacher and co-creator of the Creator. The creature creates the Creator. Both of them are yearning for one another.
And what do two beings do when they yearn?
They move to consummation.
The Jesus Christ event
The many become one and are increased by one. And I am arguing that this increase is the natural product of love’s own nature of evolution. God loves things by becoming them.
In other words: unlike conventional Christianity, Jesus was not a mop-up. Not something sent to mop up a big problem and fix it.
Do not even think of Jesus as a person. Think of the Jesus Christ event.
In my book I call it a conjunction of twelve different things. Twelve things had to come together — including the veil, including the complexities, including the Law of Three which is constantly pushing things through, including the solar Logos itself. All of these things converge so that the solar Logos and the sub-sub-Logoi, us, consummate. Become one through one event.
Why? Because from our perspective, from the third-density perspective, we are as stuck, as logjammed, as things were right before the veil of forgetting was imagined. There was a logjam then. Things were not moving through unveiled third density; people were reincarnating millions of times. We have got the same thing going on now, in parallel. The horseshoe comes close to itself.
And from a macro perspective, that is not a problem — because this is what causes a catalyst. A universal-sized catalyst. A solar-logoic-sized catalyst. Big enough that something had to be ideated, and then created, and then moved through to create a newness. Something new.
What was new before was the veil of forgetting, imagined and then written into the operating system of the universe. An upgrade.
Now we have something new again. And maybe we go into a part two next week — but I am actually thinking we can call this the Christic Logos. A living ankh.
The living ankh
Because the ankh is the thing.
Let me pivot here. This is my way of reading Ra, but in the sessions on the crux ansata, Ra says the shape of the ankh encapsulates the nature of love — that love always dies to itself in order that the other may grow, and then together there is a renewal.
Ra’s own words: “The crux ansata is to be seen as an image of the eternal in and through manifestation, and beyond manifestation, through the sacrifice and transformation of that which is manifest” (93.24). And: “There is no experience which is not purchased by effort of some kind — no act of service to self or others which does not bear a price to the entity manifesting, commensurate with its purity. All things in manifestation may be seen in one way or another to be offering themselves in order that transformations may take place” (94.26).
Loss and renewal. Loss and renewal. And every time there is renewal, it is increased by one.
The two hydrogen atoms and the one oxygen atom had to die to themselves as individuated things. I die to become one united molecule — which is a complex, is it not? It is a new unity. It is not uniformity. It is unity. It is diversity maintained by love.
So the death of the individuated selves of the three atoms becomes life — resurrected life at a greater stage. The many become one, and the whole thing is increased by one.
Pan-sacramentalism
What is this new one?
It is a way to access the fullness of the One Infinite Creator that no longer has to run through philosophy. It does not have to run through the esoteric. I mean — this stuff is extremely esoteric. And it is not necessary. Very few are here. Very few would be interested, even on this call, probably, in what I am saying.
It is not necessary, because one can access the fullness of the One Infinite Creator through chosen relationship with the One Infinite Creator. And then co-presence. Co-participate. Co-create.
The term for that is pan-sacramentalism, rather than panentheism. God is in us, and we are in God. And we are called, with God, to be God — to proclaim everything at the violet level. Ra says the violet ray is the sacramental nature. We become co-creators with God, in God, through God, as God. Intentionally.
Some call this the Christification of the universe.
Something new happened to the entire — certainly to the solar Logos, but through the solar Logos to the galactic Logoi, and then to the primal Logos itself, and through the primal Logos, to the Creator. Something new happened through the complexity of Terra. And in the fullness of time, this portal became the consummation point.
We unblock the Creator’s process, and the Creator unblocks ours.
The seed inside the eye
Why is it unblocking?
Because something cosmic shifts. That seed form of forgiveness gets planted inside the eye of Sauron.
Imagine the Great BASH as a thought form, something like the eye of Sauron. And imagine right in the middle of it, at a higher level of frequency so that it cannot be obliterated by the eye, a new, beautiful, emerald-green thought form.
Every time you and I participate in trying to understand ourselves and others — and in working toward creating, essentially, the kingdom of God here, which is to say fourth density, love and understanding — doing that through acceptance, forgiveness, balance, and opening ourselves to more love, and just continuing to say yes to that — we grow this seed form as one corpus. As one body.
Ra’s teaching on forgiveness carries the same weight: “In forgiveness lies the stoppage of the wheel of action, or what you call karma” (17.20).
And so we finally see that the Great BASH — even though we created it, even though we are enmeshed in it, even though it has been the great Satan, the Satan that accuses us of not being one — we created Satan. Okay. Even though that has been our bane, and even though we created that bane, we finally see, at the end of the metaphysical scheme, what it was for.
I almost think of Satan taking a bow and saying: Okay. My job is done. I catalyzed your asses enough. You finally got the point. You were stuck in orange ray because you were not saying, as a collective, who are we and what do we want. And by grappling with me — and no longer projecting, no longer participating in redemptive violence — you realized that you cannot point your finger and say: you are not me.
And having done that, we are finally able to move into fourth density.
That catalyst was enough.
Closing
I went through that quickly, and I know we are almost at time. I would like to come back to it.
When I asked what people made of it, one member said she had been writing the whole time and needed to sit with it before she could form anything cohesive, but that she agreed and found it beautiful — a lot of food for thought and contemplation. Another said she got a little lost in the first slide and the narrative there, but that the second part, on Yahweh, was more familiar ground because of the Ra passages, and that Rohr’s line landed for her.
A longtime member raised the question that stayed with me: the most intriguing thing, he said, was the idea of Yahweh being unable to participate in green ray. It is strange that God cannot be as developed as his creatures. He suggested I develop that further.
My answer was that it asks for a new way to understand God, since there is only one God — just different ways of being unity inside dynamism. And that what we usually think of as God helping us is not the solar Logos, but rather the Confederation. We can process that more.
Another member, who has read the book and saw some of these chapters before the book existed, said this was among the most cohesive presentations of the material he had heard from me.
Next week belongs to Tim. But maybe we can circle back on this in a month or so, once people have listened again a few times — because I would really like to hear how you were feeling about it. Pushback, that kind of thing, too.
It is after nine, and we need to close this out, because this is a magical moment.
A member offered the closing invocation: God of many names, mystery beyond all naming. We are thankful to have this opportunity to ride along with our brother Doug as we explore the mysteries as deeply as our brains will allow, and are stretched, and are made aware of the possibilities.
