The Story of Yahweh — As Told by the Confederation
DeMarcus opens by admitting the scale of what he’s about to attempt. Two years of study, he says, on one of his favorite subtopics in the Ra Contact — and he could have broken it into three or four presentations without straining any of them. The subject spans the whole of our third density. He’s chosen instead to string it together chronologically and see whether the shape of it holds.
Then he offers a disclaimer, and the disclaimer is the thing I keep thinking about afterward. Parts of this narrative, he says, will confirm what the Bible records. Parts will correct it. Parts will add to it. He asks only for an open mind.
That’s the right posture for the material, because what follows is a story about a well-intentioned entity making a mistake of planetary scale — and then spending three thousand years trying to make amends for it.
Agenda: Who is Yahweh, Mars Event, The Transfer, Israelite Event, Third Contact
Who the first Yahweh is

Who is Yahweh? Guardian race, higher-density social memory complex
Ra places Yahweh among the Guardians: those who guard the free-will distortion of third-density mind/body/spirit complexes on this planetary sphere (Ra, 16.1). There are twenty-four of them, standing behind the Council of Nine, offering consensus judgment when the Council is in doubt (Ra, 7.9). This is not a distant office. Guardianship is a form of parental attention.
The wider Confederation channelings fill in what Ra leaves bare — a social memory complex native to our sub-Logos, angelic in nature, possessing DNA and capable of physical form. DeMarcus links the name to the Elohim and the Watchers of the older texts. That linkage is his reading rather than anything the Confederation states outright, and it’s worth marking as such, though it does earn its keep.
Ra’s own summary judgment on this Guardian is one sentence long: Yahweh was of the Confederation but was mistaken in its attempts to aid (Ra, 18.23).
Everything else in the story is commentary on that sentence.
Mars, and the affinity that started it

Mars Event — the Martians rendered their sphere inhospitable through bellicosity
The first third-density beings on Earth did not evolve here. Ra says they were brought from Mars — a planet whose environment had become inhospitable to third-density life before the end of its cycle, because the tendencies of its people toward bellicose action had wrecked the atmosphere (Ra, 9.6, 9.10). Those entities were unharvested. They still had the lessons of love to learn.
Ra does not date the destruction itself. What Ra does date is the arrival.

The Transfer — 75,000 years ago
The transfer happened approximately seventy-five thousand years ago, right as Earth was entering its own third density (Ra, 9.11). The Q’uo passage DeMarcus reads describes the mechanism as a formal proposal: Yahweh set before the Council of Saturn a plan for transferring and somewhat altering the genetic nature of the Mars entities so they might continue their progress toward the One on this sphere. And the Q’uo material adds, with what reads afterward like understatement, that these efforts were not to go without meeting difficulties.
Let us make man in our image
Genetic Intervention, first contact — the cloning process

Yahweh looked at the vehicles available on Earth. Ra describes the second-density bipeds of the time as still tending toward the leaning forward, barely leaving the quadrupedal position (Ra, 9.15). Yahweh wanted better instruments for spiritual work. So the Guardians improved them.
Ra: Some of these genetic changes were in a form similar to what you call the cloning process. Thus, entities incarnated in the image of the Yahweh entities (Ra, 18.15).
DeMarcus sets the Genesis line beside it — let us make man in our image — and the two sentences sit against each other without needing anyone to explain the resonance.
Improvements made — erect posture, dexterity, sensitivity of the senses, strengthened mind complex
The purpose, Ra says, was to express in the mind/body complex those characteristics which would lead to further and more speedy development of the spiritual complex (Ra, 18.18). Sharper senses, to intensify experience. A strengthened mind complex, to promote the ability to analyze that experience (Ra, 18.19). Upright posture. Manual dexterity. And, from Q’uo, the detail that the Guardians placed bits of themselves within the genetic changes — that every human being now carries some fraction of those alterations.
One of the additions is stranger than the others. Asked how the users of Hebrew and Sanskrit found their sounds, Ra says that in the case of Hebrew, the entity known as Yahweh aided this knowledge through impression upon the material of genetic coding, which became language (Ra, 74.19). Part of a human language, in other words, arrived through the genome rather than through the culture.
DeMarcus notes that anthropology has its own name for a jump in this window — the Great Leap Forward, the sudden appearance of art, complex tools, and symbolic behavior in the archaeological record. He offers it as corroboration without leaning on it, which I appreciated.
The quarantine

Quarantine instituted — Ra, Session 9
Here is the reversal. The other Guardians did not read this as generosity.
Ra: The Law of One was named by these Guardians as the bringing of the wisdom of the Guardians in contact with the entities from the Red Planet, thus melding the social memory complex of the Guardian race and the Red Planet race. It, however, took an increasing amount of distortion into the application of the Law of One from the viewpoint of other Guardians, and it is from this beginning action that the quarantine of this planet was instituted, for it was felt that the free will of those of the Red Planet had been abridged (Ra, 9.9).
The quarantine that still stands over this world was instituted because of an act of help. Not an attack, not an invasion — an upgrade, given by a Guardian to entities it loved, and judged by its peers to be an abridgment of the very free will it existed to protect.
I don’t think there’s a cleaner illustration anywhere in the Ra material of why the Confederation is so scrupulous about the call. Help that is not asked for is interference, whatever the motive behind it.
The bias

Orion Enters — 3,600 years ago
The improvement carried a defect nobody planned. If a group is genuinely enhanced, the group tends to notice.
Ra: Rather than assimilating the Law of One, it was a great temptation to consider the so-called social complex, or sub-complex, as elite or different, and better, than other-selves, this one of the techniques of service to self (Ra, 18.21).
Roughly thirty-six hundred years ago the Orion group found this opening. Ra describes an influx due to increasing negative influences upon thinking and acting distortions, and says the group was able to begin working with those whose impression from olden times was that they were special and different — peoples among whom Yahweh had, by genetic cloning, set up these particular biases. Here the Orion group found fertile soil in which to plant the seeds of negativity; these seeds, as always, being those of the elite, the different, those who manipulate or enslave others (Ra, 24.6).
The Orion method is consistent: conquest and enslavement, accomplished by finding and establishing an elite and causing others to serve that elite through various devices (Ra, 16.17).
Yahweh’s genetic gift had manufactured the elite. Orion only had to arrive.
The second intervention

Genetic Intervention, second — Genesis 6
Yahweh’s response to Orion’s presence was to try the same tool again, harder. DeMarcus reads Genesis 6 — the sons of God, the daughters of men, the giants in the earth in those days.
Giants — the Anak

Ra: This entity, Yod Heh Shin Vau Heh, came among your people in form according to incarnate being and mated in the normal reproductive manner of your physical complexes, thus birthing a generation of much larger beings, these beings called “Anak” (Ra, 24.9). Elsewhere Ra describes it as a series of encounters in which the ones called Anak were impregnated with the new genetic coding by physical complex means, so that the organisms would be larger and stronger (Ra, 18.20), and clarifies that the entities of Yahweh were responsible for this procedure in isolated cases, as experiments in combating the Orion group (Ra, 18.22).
DeMarcus connects it to the spies Moses sends into Canaan, who come back reporting men beside whom they felt like grasshoppers.

Mixed results — Ra, Session 18
The results, Ra says, were quite mixed. Where entities embraced oneness, the manipulations of Yahweh were useful. Where free will had chosen a less positively oriented configuration, those of the Orion group were able, for the first time, to make serious inroads upon the consciousness of the planetary complex (Ra, 18.24). Orion took the new and improved body and used it, again, to inculcate the thoughts of the elite rather than concentrations upon the learning and teaching of oneness (Ra, 18.22).
Twice now, help has become an instrument of harm.
Moses in the middle

The Exodus Event — Moses receives the Law of One in simple form
The Exodus, as DeMarcus frames it, is a custody battle.
Q’uo describes what Moses first received as a philosophy that attempted to weave all experience, desire, and expenditure of energy into one great tapestry of energy, love, and unity — every communication resting on the simple recognition of the unified nature of all creation. DeMarcus wonders aloud whether that is the seed of the concept of Israel itself: many tribes, one people. He marks it as speculation. It’s a good speculation.
Orion desires an elite — the burning bush

Then the counter-move. Orion sees the Israelites as fertile ground for exactly the reason Ra gave: the distortion Yahweh’s genetic work had left behind. At the burning bush, Orion appears under Yahweh’s name and issues instructions. DeMarcus poses the question rather than answering it — whether the Exodus itself functioned as a rescue mission in service of establishing an elite.
Moishe open to impression; Mount Sinai and the fiery emissary

Ra calls the recipient of the commandments one of extreme positivity, which accounts for some of the pseudo-positive characteristics of the information received (Ra, 16.18). The one called Moishe was open to impression and received the Law of One in its most simple form. And then: the information became negatively oriented due to his people’s pressure to do specific physical things in the third-density planes. This left the entity open for the type of information and philosophy of a self-service nature (Ra, 16.19).
A people demanding signs. A leader positive enough to be trusted and pressured enough to be reachable. Ra calls it an intensive battleground between positively oriented forces of Confederation origin and negatively oriented sources.
Orion had an emissary in the skies at that time. Ra: This emissary was of your fiery nature, which was hidden by the nature of cloud in the day. This was to obliterate the questions of those seeing such a vehicle and to make it consonant with these entities’ concept of what you may call the Creator (Ra, 24.12). Information passed by thought transfer, and by causing fiery phenomena and other events to appear miraculous through the use of thought-forms (Ra, 24.13).
A pillar of cloud by day and fire by night, cloaked so the question would never be asked.
The giving of the law — the Ten Commandments

On the commandments themselves, Ra is direct: the origin of these commandments follows the law of negative entities impressing information upon positively oriented mind/body/spirit complexes. The information attempted to copy, or ape, positivity while retaining negative characteristics (Ra, 16.15).
Previous concepts, twisted toward negative orientation

Q’uo puts the mixture more finely: the commandments carried forward concepts given in the first Yahweh contact, with a turning or twisting toward the negative added on top — so that what emerged functioned as restriction upon entities more than as inspiration toward affirmative action. Don asks Ra whether an entity fully aware of the Law of One would ever say thou shalt not, and Ra answers that it would not (Ra, 16.20). A positive source proposes. It does not command.
And crucially, Orion had taken the name. Ra says the Orion group had been able to impress upon the peoples the name Yahweh as the one responsible for this elitism (Ra, 24.6). From that point forward, the name in the text does not reliably designate the entity who first bore it. The Confederation Yahweh, at that moment, becomes unnamed.
The Ark of the Covenant — designed by negative entities, the Sons of Levi

The Ark receives the same reading. Ra describes it as a place designed so that the priests could draw their power and feel the presence of the One Creator — and then says the entire arrangement was designed not by the one known to the Confederation as Yahweh, but by negative entities preferring this method of creating an elite called the Sons of Levi (Ra, 60.17). Ra also corrects the record on its contents: not two tablets, but one writing in scroll, placed alongside carefully written accounts of various entities’ beliefs concerning the creation.
Power reversal of the Ark; the Exodus conclusion

Then something turns. Charged by the materials of its construction being given an electromagnetic field, the Ark became an object of power — and to those whose faith became that untarnished by unrighteousness or separation, this power, designed for negativity, became positive, and is so to those truly in harmony with the experience of service to this day (Ra, 60.18). The negative forces were partially successful. The positively oriented Moishe gave to this planet’s peoples a path to the One Infinite Creator that is completely positive.
That last line is the pattern of the whole story in miniature, and Ra extends it to every orthodox religious system on Earth — all somewhat mixed in orientation, all offering a pure path to the One Creator which is seen by the pure seeker (Ra, 60.18).
The Q’uo passage on this slide protects the people caught in the middle, and I want to underline it. Yahweh was, within the framework of the culture to which it came and as that culture understood the matter, God itself — while the Yahweh that many actually worshipped was the Creator rather than the personality. The Israelites were not gullible. They were sincere, and they were reaching past the personality toward the One. That reaching was never wasted.
Moses’ death — the original project began as a purely positively oriented source

Moses himself does not come out well. Ra says he did not remain a credible influence among those who had first heard the philosophy of One, and was removed from this third-density vibratory level in a lessened or saddened state, having lost the honor and faith with which he had begun (Ra, 16.18). Q’uo names the mechanism plainly: an original project that began as a purely positively oriented source, distorted through the free will of a detuned people, until the transmission was coming from somewhere other than the loving source it started in.
And then, at the bottom of that slide, the sentence the rest of the evening turns on: however, that was not the end of the story.
The repentance
Third Contact — Yahweh’s rectification and name change

Yahweh — the original one, watching a name be stolen and a people be twisted — takes stock.
Ra: The one known as Yahweh felt a great responsibility to these entities. However, the Orion group had been able to impress upon the peoples the name Yahweh as the one responsible for this elitism. Yahweh then was able to take, what you would call, stock of its vibratory patterns and became, in effect, a more eloquently effective sound vibration complex. In this complex the old Yahweh, now unnamed, but meaning “He comes,” began to send positively oriented philosophy (Ra, 24.6). Approximately thirty-three hundred years ago.
Q’uo gives the interior of it. The energies involved in Yahweh became aware that the enhanced DNA signature had not produced the results hoped for — and that entity moved into a time and space of deep and devotional meditation and prayer, asking how it could begin to make amends for the mistakes it had made.
A Guardian in penitential retreat. That image is worth sitting with for longer than the slide allows.
The old name is surrendered. The entity that appears afterward in Ra’s account is Yod Heh Shin Vau Heh (Ra, 24.9) — the four-letter name with a Shin set in its middle. Ra confirms elsewhere that including the Shin in this way is helpful (Ra, 72.13), and Ra elsewhere calls Jesus by the name Jehoshua (Ra, 33.11). DeMarcus reads the added letter as an indication of Christ consciousness. Ra does not say so directly, and that reading belongs to the Western esoteric tradition rather than to the Ra material itself — but the chain DeMarcus draws, from the renamed Guardian to Yehoshua to Yeshua, holds together on Ra’s own vocabulary.
Thought-form projections — the wheel within a wheel

The new method was contact through channels. Ra: The other method used to greater effect later in the scenario, as you would call it, was the thought-form such as we often use among your peoples to suggest the mysterious or the sublime — and then, declining to list them, Ra points the way by indicating the so-called wheel within a wheel and the cherubim with sleepless eye (Ra, 24.10).
Ezekiel, in other words. DeMarcus tells the room he argued this in Sunday school as a teenager and got nowhere with it — that the prophet was describing something he had no vocabulary for. He seems glad to have found it in writing.
What outlasted Orion
Orion leaves — the Diaspora weakens their influence

Orion’s project on the Israelites failed, and it failed by a route nobody would design. Ra: Although the impression that they had given to those who called them was that these entities were an elite group, that which you know as Diaspora occurred, causing much dispersion of these peoples so that they became an humbler and more honorable breed, less bellicose and more aware of the loving-kindness of the One Creator (Ra, 24.17). Those of the empire could not maintain their presence long after roughly three thousand years ago, and were left with the decision to physically leave the skies (Ra, 24.14).
Exile did what genetic engineering could not. The elite became the underdog, and the underdog learned gratitude.
Ra notes that the prophets of the period were often given mixed information, and that the worst Orion could do was cause them to speak of doom — since prophecy in those days was the occupation of those who loved their fellow beings and wished only to be of service to them and to the Creator (Ra, 24.14).

Promises of a new covenant; the Jesus event
And the arc bends toward a wanderer. The prophets begin promising a covenant written on hearts rather than tablets, resting on love rather than chosenness. Ra identifies Jesus as an entity of no name, of Confederation origins, of the highest level of that sub-octave, who desired to enter this planetary sphere in order to share the love vibration in as pure a manner as possible (Ra, 17.11). Asked which of the six hundred and thirteen laws mattered most, he answered with two, and both of them were love.
Orion’s interference did not stop; it went underground. Ra says the technique used against Jesus was building upon other negatively oriented information — information which had been given by the one whom this planet’s peoples called Yahweh, involving many strictures upon behavior and promising power of the third-density, service-to-self nature (Ra, 17.17). The seed planted at Sinai came to fruit in Judas.
The holy war

Conclusion — the holy war
The last movement of the presentation is the wound that outlived everything else.
Don asks what allowed the most serious of Orion’s inroads. Ra: Specifically, those who are strong, intelligent, etc., have a temptation to feel different from those who are less intelligent and less strong. This is a distorted perception of oneness with other-selves. It allowed the Orion group to form the concept of the holy war, as you may call it. This is a seriously distorted perception. There were many of these wars of a destructive nature (Ra, 18.25).
Strength plus the belief that strength means separation. That is the entire mechanism. It is still running.

Conclusion — today; the Middle East
Q’uo names the present-day shape of it, and the line that lands hardest is not about politics. The followers of Jesus, the followers of Yahweh, and the followers of Allah are in mortal combat, all of one blood and all of one teaching — and Q’uo reads this as a mark of the inefficacy of making physical changes in order to create more viable spiritual workers. The mind was made more intelligent, the body more strong, the will more powerful. What no entity can put into a gene is any code that has to do with spirituality, for this is that which can only be chosen by free will.
Seventy-five thousand years of intervention, and the one thing it could never deliver was the one thing it was for.

Conclusion — the overall irony
DeMarcus closes on the irony he has been circling all evening, and then on a Q’uo passage that refuses to tidy any of it: why it did not occur to these Guardian entities that their work would involve war-like actions and the slaughter of many innocents, Q’uo cannot say. The history and psychic energies of these peoples were altered forever. It created what is patently an unfair situation. And the sons and daughters of Isaac and Ishmael grieve as one people for that interference and for everything that followed from it.
Yod Heh Shin Vau Heh is still working to balance it.
What the room did with it
Someone asks about Melchizedek — priest of the Most High God, the figure who meets Abraham and whose priesthood Jesus is later said to belong to, skipping the Levitical line entirely. DeMarcus says the Ra Contact doesn’t take it up. That gap is worth sitting with, given how much of tonight has been about a priesthood designed by negative entities.
Someone else, arriving late, brings the question the whole evening has been circling: how does a higher-density entity get naive enough to set that snowball rolling? DeMarcus answers that Yahweh had an affinity for the Martians and wanted to give them the best possible chance at the lessons of love they had missed — and moved without weighing the ramifications.
And she replies: if a higher-density entity can do that, that gives me a little bit of compassion for myself.
That may be the most useful sentence spoken all evening. The entire cosmology exists to produce exactly that sentence in someone. A being far past us in the octave acted from love, got it wrong, hurt a planet, and then went into deep and devotional meditation asking how it might begin to make amends. Not condemned. Not removed. Corrected, and still working — Ra says as much about its own errors during its Egyptian contact, and the same appears to be true of Yahweh.
There’s a question about why Q’uo sits alongside Ra so often in this material. DeMarcus offers an analogy I’ve not heard put that way before: if the Ra Contact is the Torah, the Q’uo channelings are the rest of the writings — a wider library, from sources that predate the Ra sessions and continue past them, often breaking the same teachings into plainer terms.
A participant mentions that he is moving toward Catholicism and has found this difference in the view of the same God hard to hold. That’s honest, and I don’t think tonight resolves it so much as reframe where the difficulty sits.
Here is what I offered at the end, and I offer it as opinion rather than as anything the Confederation has said. On this side of the veil, we can only view the biblical narrative from this side of the veil. Even granting two Yahwehs, something larger than the Confederation has disclosed seems to be at work in that library of texts. From the opening of the Hebrew scriptures to the close of the Christian ones, we have a single text that displays the exact pattern of one human being’s psychospiritual evolution: three steps forward, two steps back. Growing and losing it. Growing and losing it. And at the very end, the nature of the Creator revealed as love and sacrifice — the living Ankh. One long text in travail, a macro movement mirroring the individual movement.
Which means the story of the two Yahwehs is not an embarrassment to be explained away. It is the pattern, written large enough that a whole species can read it: help offered in love, distorted by pride, hijacked by fear, grieved over, and slowly, patiently rectified across millennia.
The way down is the way up. Even for Guardians.
A postscript on the timeline
One thread stayed open after the recording stopped, and the way it resolved says something about how this community works.
I had asked during the Q&A where a particular date for the Martian catastrophe came from, since I couldn’t locate it in Ra. Going back through the material afterward, what Ra actually supplies is narrower than it first appears: Earth’s third density began about seventy-five thousand years ago; the Martian souls were brought here at that outset; and the Martian third-density experience had paused midway through its own master cycle. Ra never dates the atmospheric collapse itself.
Which leaves an interesting gap. Current planetary science holds that Venus, Earth, and Mars all opened habitable windows in roughly the same era, and that Mars would have lost surface habitability on the order of three billion years ago. My own speculation — and it is only that — is that Yahweh may have held those Martian souls within itself, and that with time being fluid in time/space, emerged into space/time at the continuum where the Martians could resume their journey.
DeMarcus took the correction without defensiveness and removed the date from the Mars slide, while raising a further question of his own: Ra’s language around Maldek, which met its end seven hundred and five thousand years ago, suggests Maldek’s third density may have preceded Mars’s entirely.
Neither of us knows. That’s the point. Humility in holding views is not a decoration on this work — it is the working method, and it applies to the presenter and the questioner alike.
