“Franciscan philosopher-theologian Blessed John Duns Scotus (1266-1308) taught extensively on the absolute uniqueness of each act of creation. His doctrine of haecceity is derived from haec, the Latin word for “this.” Duns Scotus said the absolute freedom of God allows God to create, or not to create, each creature. Its existence means God has positively chosen to create that creature, precisely as it is.”
“Each creature is thus not merely one member of a genus and species, but a unique aspect of the infinite Mystery of God. God is continuously choosing each created 
thing specifically to exist, moment by moment.”
“You can only know anything by meeting it in its precise and irreplaceable thisness and honoring it there. Each individual act of creation is a once-in-eternity choice on God’s part. The direct implication of this truth is that love must precede all true knowledge, which was at the heart of all Franciscan-based philosophy.”

Scotus’ contribution was a breakthrough at the time and remains a beautiful truth that can be encountered when one surrenders into the present moment and engages with reality right in front of us. The rock, the flower, the person before us is a “unique aspect of the infinite Mystery of God.”
Ra, in the Law of One material, speaks about how each aspect of creation is a totally unique expression of the Infinite Creator. What follows in this article are the various ways in which Ra articulates how creation in all its multiplicity provides a complete and total unique experience of Infinite Creator knowing Itself, 
infinitely. The primary reason why this is so important and beautiful is because when we contemplate this mystery and really encounter it, our hearts can begin to feel a radiant intimacy with all things, all relationships, all catalysts, all distortions, all of history, and all of the future. All of this can be accessed when we put our mind in the heart, and through the heart, we see with the eyes of God. The result of this seeing is deep intimacy which makes sense of both our loneliness and our joys. When we can see the wholeness of all of creation in this particular moment, with this particular object, then we can know that we have awakened, at least for this blessed encounter, as the Creator in Creation. For those who like the chakra 
system, Ra says that this kind of seeing is a piercing of Intelligent Infinity and belongs properly to an activation of the sixth chakra (3rd eye). We may not stay there continuously, but we can always return once we have found our way. In fact, you’ll never be truly satisfied with any other kind of seeing and being once you’ve had a taste of the holistic mystery.
So, let’s dive into seeing how unique creation really is from Ra’s point of view.
Thisness Is Found from the Smallest to the Largest
Ra states that “in each infinitesimal part of [creation] resides the One in all of Its power,” 15.14, [1]. Therefore, “the atom within a molecule has its unique identity”
89.20, [2]. Each person is also a completely unique instance of the Infinite Creator knowing itself, 29.26, [3]. Our beautiful planet Earth is a unique experience and expression of God, 66.31, [4] especially in and through the collective humanity that dwells upon it, 6.13, [5]. Even the Solar System has its own “pattern, rhythms, and so-called natural laws which are unique to itself,” 13.15 [6]. Furthermore, the galaxy, and indeed, the entirety of creation is alive (29.8) and each of its parts that constitute the wholeness is unique in and of itself.
Thisness Is Found In Each Human Being
When two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom, which are unique in themselves, combine to make up a new manifestation (a water molecule), we see that the whole (in this case, water) is greater than the sum of its parts (three atoms, dancing together). It is through the atoms’ relationships with each other and their combining their particular unique identities that we obtain a new wholeness that transcends and includes its parts. Likewise, the human person is a totally unique nexus or convergence of multiple energetic vortices that interplay and interpenetrate, one upon the other. Though there are an infinite number of overlays that make up each person-nexus, below are six major energetic vortices that interpenetrate to combine into what “[we] call so carelessly a person,” (51.10). These include the mind/body/spirit complex, relationships, catalysts, and spiritual paths.
Thisness as the Mind-Body-Spirit Complex:
First and most basic, we have the mind-body-spirit complex which, taken together, forms the arising of a particular, unique sub-sub logos, or person. Though all humans have a mind, body, and spirit, just how this triplet combines and perceives
reality makes up their thisness at every moment.
Each of us have totally unique distortions, unique blockages, unique places of openness, unique inner harmony and balance between our chakras, which all go together to make up an unique spectrograph, 38.5 [7]. In fact, Ra says that when healers such as acupuncturists attempt to heal an other-self, they should take into consideration the uniqueness of each person’s energetic configurations, 49.5 [8].
Thisness as Relationships:
No thing exists by itself. All things in creation exist in relationship and indeed, relationality is a primary characteristic of the matrix that holds the cosmos all together. Ra shares in several places in the Law of One material that the combining energetics of different people create unique combinations that become a new 
arising. Remember how three atoms combine to make a water molecule. Just so, you and an other-self combine forces to create another metaphysical amalgamation, sometimes called a body. It is beyond the scope of this article to explore such things as the unibody, enabler body, and twin-flames, but the reader can do so if you are so inclined.
Ra states that not only is “…each entity…unique and each relationship with self and other-self doubly unique,” (42.20) but there are an infinite array of possible energy exchanges (transfers) between entities, 73.21[9], 73.22 [10], 74.9 [11], 89.20 [12].
Relationship played the primary reason that we have the Law of One material. The
uniqueness of the harmony within the triad (Jim, Don, and Carla) that brought in Ra’s contact is evidenced in this Law of One quote: “The unique characteristic of the workings which the social memory complex Ra and your group have begun is the intent to serve others with the highest attempt at near purity which we as comrades may achieve” (69.5).
Thisness As Catalysts
Each person has their own unique understanding of reality. With every moment (10.14,[13]), Love kisses, beckons, repels, perplexes, frustrates, seduces, intrigues, slaps us down, and crowns us in glory. Every catalyst is unique in its offering the lesson of the moment. We draw some of the catalysts to us during our lifetime (50.3 [14]). We plan other catalysts before incarnating which are tailor-made for our unique requirements(54.24 [15]). Catalysts are grace disguised and hidden in the moment’s situation that help us learn balance, harmony, acceptance, and forgiveness. Each one of those are uniquely measured for every individual person. What may be appropriate for one person in helping them find these treasures may not be appropriate for another.
Thisness As Spiritual Paths
“Each path of life experience is unique” (36.11, 32.2 [16]). Every infinitesimal part of creation is on a spiritual path of union within itself, with other-selves, and with the Infinite Creator (20.27). In the seeking and the finding, we return back to the Infinite Creator and no matter how long it takes us, “All shall be well, all shall be well, and all manner of thing shall be well,” (Julian of Norwich).
Ra says that the “best way for each seeker in third density to be of service to others is unique to that [entity]. This means that the [entity] must then seek within itself the intelligence of its own discernment as to the way it may best serve other-selves. This will be different for each. There is no best. There is no generalization. Nothing is known” (17.30). Just how the entity seeks within itself and discerns the best way to serve will be completely unique to that person and to that relationship with the other-self.
Also from the Law of One material, we learn of the two paths of polarities that propel the seeker through various densities of experience. There is even a thisness in the choosing of the path, too.

19.17 Questioner: Can you tell me what bias creates their momentum toward the chosen path of service to self?
Ra: I am Ra. We can speak only in metaphor. Some love the light. Some love the 
darkness. It is a matter of the unique and infinitely various Creator choosing and playing among its experiences as a child upon a picnic. Some enjoy the picnic and find the sun beautiful, the food delicious, the games refreshing, and glow with the joy of creation. Some find the night delicious, their picnic being pain, difficulty, sufferings of others, and the examination of the perversities of nature. These enjoy a different picnic.
All these experiences are available. It is free will of each entity which chooses the form of play, the form of pleasure.

Conclusion:
Franciscan John Dun Scotus’ notion of haecceity describes that each particular thing in creation is a special, unique thisness within the wholeness of the Infinite Creator. God created this rock and this person exactly as they are in order for them to live out their little play upon the stage of life and thus give glory back to God. From a more cosmic scope, Ra sees haecceity in everything, too. The big difference is that from a more transcendent viewpoint, things are not things but rather configurations of particular energetic vortices that form through free will, love, and light with the most tender blessings.
Haecceity is a phenomenon not only in people and things, but in relationships, catalysts, and paths. All movement within this Great Hologram of Love-Expressed is completely unique and gives to the Infinite Creator a totally special experience of itself. How glorious is that?!

There is not at this time any reason to include efforts upon these distortions toward longevity, but rather to encourage distortions towards the heart of self. For this which resides clearly in the violet-ray energy field will determine the harvest of each mind/body/spirit complex.” Could you tell us how to seek or the best way to seek the heart of self?
Ra: I am Ra. We have given you this information in several wordings. However, we can only say the material for your understanding is the self: the mind/body/spirit complex. You have been given information upon healing, as you call this distortion. This information may be seen in a more general context as ways to understand the self. The understanding, experiencing, accepting, and merging of self with self and with other-self, and finally with the Creator, is the path to the heart of self. In each infinitesimal part of your self resides the One in all of Its power. Therefore, we can only encourage these lines of contemplation, always stating the prerequisite of meditation, contemplation, or prayer as a means of subjectively/objectively using or combining various understandings to enhance the seeking process. Without such a method of reversing the analytical process, one could not integrate into unity the many understandings gained in such seeking.

Ra: I am Ra. Each mind/body/spirit complex is an unique portion of the One Creator.
[4] 66.31 Ra: I am Ra. Each planetary experience is unique. The problems, shall we say, of bellicose actions are more likely to be of pressing concern to late third-density negative entities than the earth’s reactions to negativity of the planetary mind, for it is often by such warlike attitudes on a global scale that the necessary negative polarization is achieved.
As fourth density occurs there is a new planet and new physical vehicle system gradually expressing itself and the parameters of bellicose actions become those of thought rather than manifested weapons.
[5] 6.13 Questioner: Thanks. Is all of the Earth’s population then, human population of the earth, are all of them originally from Maldek?
Ra: I am Ra. This is a new line of questioning, and deserves a place of its own. The ones who were harvested to your sphere from the sphere known before its dissolution as other names, but to your peoples as Maldek, incarnated, many within your Earth’s surface rather than upon it. The population of your planet contains many various groups harvested from other second-dimension and cycled third-dimension spheres. You are not all one race or background of beginning. The experience you share is unique to this time/space continuum.
[6] 13.15 The process is from the larger, in your illusion, to the smaller. Thus the co-Creator, individualizing the galaxy, created energy patterns which then focused in multitudinous focuses of further conscious awareness of intelligent infinity. Thus, the solar system of which you experience inhabitation is of its own patterns, rhythms, and so-called natural laws which are unique to itself. However, the progression is from the galaxy spiraling energy to the solar spiraling energy, to the planetary spiraling energy, to the experiential circumstances of spiraling energy which begin the first density of awareness or consciousness of planetary entities.
[7] 38.5 Questioner: Could you tell me how each of the rays, red through violet, would appear in a perfectly balanced, undistorted entity?
Ra: I am Ra. We cannot tell you this for each balance is perfect and each unique. We do not mean to be obscure.
Let us offer an example. In a particular entity, let us use this instrument, the rays may be viewed as extremely even, red, orange, yellow. The green ray is extremely bright. This is, shall we say, balanced by a dimmer indigo. Between these two the point of balance resides, the blue ray of the communicator sparkling in strength above the ordinary. In the violet ray we see this unique spectrograph, if you will, and at the same time the pure violet surrounding the whole; this in turn, surrounded by that which mixes the red and violet ray, indicating the integration of mind, body, and spirit; this surrounded in turn by the vibratory pattern of this entity’s true density.
This description may be seen to be both unbalanced and in perfect balance. The latter understanding is extremely helpful in dealing with other-selves. The ability to feel blockages is useful only to the healer. There is not properly a tiny fraction of judgment when viewing a balance in colors. Of course when we see many of the energy plexi weakened and blocked, we may understand that an entity has not yet grasped the baton and begun the race. However, the potentials are always there. All the rays fully balanced are there in waiting to be activated.
Perhaps another way to address your query is this: In the fully potentiated entity the rays mount one upon the other with equal vibratory brilliance and scintillating sheen until the surrounding color is white. This is what you may call potentiated balance in third density.
[8] 49.5 One may examine each of the energy centers for such secondary centers. Some of your peoples work with these energy centers, and you call this acupuncture. However, it is to be noted that there are most often anomalies in the placement of the energy centers so that the scientific precision of this practice is brought into question. Like most scientific attempts at precision, it fails to take into account the unique qualities of each creation.
[9] 73.21 Could you tell me of the number of possible energy transfers between two or more mind/body/spirit complexes. Is it very large, or are there few [inaudible]?
Ra: I am Ra. The number is infinite, for is not each mind/body/spirit complex unique?
[10] 73.22 Thusly the transfer is subtle and each transfer unique in what is offered and what is accepted. At this point we may note that this is the cause for the infinite array of possible energy transfers.
[11] 74.9 The disciplined personality, when faced with an other-self, has all centers balanced according to its unique balance. Thusly the other-self looks in a mirror seeing itself.

Ra: I am Ra.
Exercise One. This is the most nearly centered and usable within your illusion complex. The moment contains love. That is the lesson/goal of this illusion or density. The exercise is to consciously seek that love in awareness and understanding distortions. The first attempt is the cornerstone. Upon this choosing rests the remainder of the life-experience of an entity. The second seeking of love within the moment begins the addition. The third seeking powers the second, the fourth powering or doubling the third. As with the previous type of empowerment, there will be some loss of power due to flaws within the seeking in the distortion of insincerity. However, the conscious statement of self to self of the desire to seek love is so central an act of will that, as before, the loss of power due to this friction is inconsequential.
Exercise Two. The universe is one being. When a mind/body/spirit complex views another mind/body/spirit complex, see the Creator. This is an helpful exercise.
Exercise Three. Gaze within a mirror. See the Creator.
Exercise Four. Gaze at the creation which lies about the mind/body/spirit complex of each entity. See the Creator.
The foundation or prerequisite of these exercises is a predilection towards what may be called meditation, contemplation, or prayer. With this attitude, these exercises can be processed. Without it, the data will not sink down into the roots of the tree of mind, thus enabling and ennobling the body and touching the spirit.
[14] 50.3 Questioner: Why do you say the experience is drawn to or attracted to the entity?
Ra: I am Ra. We say this due to our understanding that this is the nature of the phenomenon of experiential catalyst and its entry into the mind/body/spirit complex’s awareness.
[15] 54.24 Therefore, catalyst is programmed and the program is designed for the mind/body/spirit complex for its unique requirements. Thus it is desirable that a mind/body/spirit complex be aware of and hearken to the voice of its experiential catalyst, gleaning from it that which it incarnated to glean.
[16] 32.2 The experience of each entity is unique in perception of intelligent infinity. Perceptions range from a limitless joy to a strong dedication to service to others while in the incarnated state.
