The following is my reflection to some questions posed by a seeker whose spiritual tradition of origin is Catholicism. This person is also quite proficient in theological language and concepts, in addition to the metaphysics of the Law of One material.
This brief essay may appeal to a few and I offer it here for those who may find it interesting.

Mary is not mentioned in the Law of One material. However, the divine feminine is present throughout. What I believe about Mary is not conventional but not wholly different from the conventional.
“Mary” as a name and term seems to refer to the archetype of a 3rd-density being, for “Mary” means, “bitter,” “rebellious,” and “beloved.” It does not refer to being bitter or embittered but rather, to the bitter experience of travailing through 3rd-density’s vibrational conditions, which are defined by nascent self-awareness which emerges behind the veil of forgetting. “Mary” is a descriptor of our particular planetary consciousness, by that I mean the collective consciousness created by this planet’s third-density beings, which marks our collective struggles with bellicosity, with missing planetary psychospiritual developmental milestones, and with our always and forever intrinsic nature as the Beloved.

In almost all of the Law of One Archetypes presented in the later sessions, you see the figure looking to the left, watchful and fixated. That is because 3rd-density beings usually don’t perceive “catalysts” unless they cause us some issues; that they appear as if they are negative because negativity grabs our attention.
In fact, 3rd density’s vibratory conditions are set up so that it is 75% service-to-self in nature, which is evident when you consider that the thrust of evolution is competition, adaptation, and cooperation within groups against other groups. This is why Ra says that it is as hard to achieve positive levels of harvestability (51% service to others) as it is to harvest to the negative fourth density, which requires 95% blockage of the heart.
Thus, Mary is a name that simply is the vibrational sound complex connected to the metaphysical energetic configuration of our 3rd density condition: we experience it as bitter (esp at first), we rebel against using catalyst to open our hearts in universal love and understanding, but we are always beloved.

Viktor Vasnetsov
You might say, in fact, that “Mary” has three layers of meaning that are described in this way: 1) our subjective experience [bitter], 2) our objective nature [beloved], and 3) our role (“honor/duty”) as third density beings [kenosis]. The role we have is archetypally illustrated in the biblical narrative through all the Marys as the ones who willingly receive grace, actively allow something to be done unto them, and thus, midwife new levels of being into our world—Christ, in the case of Mary, the mother of Jesus—and Christ consciousness, in the case of Mary Magdalene.
Ra implies how our third-density experience belongs more within the feminine principle. In session 88.23, Ra says, “Your own nature is water in that you as mind/body/spirit complexes are easily impressed and moved. Indeed, this is the very fiber and nature of your journey and vigil in this density: to not only be moved but to instruct yourself as to the preferred manner of your movement in mind, body, and spirit.”
Moreover, Ra reveals that the veil of forgetting present only in the third-density experience draws a semi-permeable line between the conscious and unconscious which creates the avenue for spiritual evolution as the dynamic tension between the conscious mind and the unconscious mind. The male principle in every third-density being dips into the unconscious mind–the female principle–which is infinitely deep, and also the entryway into more transcendent layers of mind (racial, planetary, archetypal, logoic, universal), as a function of the Creator’s own primal creative principle working through the third-density conditions. Third-density, in other words, is characterized by working in and through the female principle, which Ra says archetypally is depicted as water, moon, moonlight, hidden things, mystery, and faith.

A Mary births Christ every moment, since every moment contains the entirety of the One Infinite Creator which is always and everywhere funneling Itself into manifestation. And this way of being–that is, to be a Mary–is not only the hallmark of the 3rd-density experience, but finds itself right at the headwaters of cosmogenesis as the feminine principle (actively passive, actively receptive, and actively negatively charged (magnetically speaking)), when the Creator, as Ra says, discerned that ability to experience Itself.
In order for the One to experience Itself, It must nuance Itself into a Trinity wherein One subjectifies Itself into another One, and together, they co-create a new Oneness. The new Oneness nature can be described as “not one, not two, but both one and two.” In this way, the Oneness experiences Itself now not as uniformity (the same) but rather, unity (diversity maintained and protected by love).
In order for this Trinity to arise, there had to be the One’s discernment of a process called by the Greek Fathers, “kenosis,” or self-emptying. The self-emptying of the One of Its uniformityness is the first “midwifing of Christ,” as it were, seen here as Infinity moving from the stasis of One to the dynamism of Oneness-as-Three.
In other words, the archetype of Mary was there at the beginning. Therefore, any thing (noun) that things (verb) other things, is a Mary and functions as a Mary. A thing things other things as a response to the initial Creator’s a priory Original Thought, which Ra says, has always only been one instinct, one driving force: to experience Itself. Our desire to create is a response to, and an enabling of, the Creator’s Original Thought.
As to Mary, mother of Jesus, I can see that the person who incarnated as Mary, like the person who incarnated as Jesus, volunteered to play out a pure Archetype which would arise out of–and therefore, would be perfectly appropriate for– Earth’s third-density experience.
Was this person whom we know as Mary sinless in the conventional sense? I don’t know. But Richard Rohr has suggested that an interesting interpretation of “sin” could be anytime we humans willfully say “no” to the divine flow. To be “sinless,” therefore, is to always say “yes” to the will of God in the way that Ra says the adept is someone who has no will of their own but rather is the crystallized instrument through which the will of the Creator is made manifest.
Was Mary a crystalized adept who remembered past-lives’ adept-level magical work? Did she achieve high adeptness by age 14 when she gave birth to Jesus? I don’t know. But something does not have to be historically accurate for it to be mythically and archetypally true.
My own Christian faith of origin is a gift for me. Through it, I have been given ways to grapple with cosmic realities wherein I am not just a student of concepts (theology), or just a witness to emergence, or just an illusion awakening to the illusory universe, but rather, on the other side of all of those good things, I say this: I am here, now, like this, and I’m busy with wholeness-making.
For me, my catholicity isn’t contained solely within the paradigm of the institutional church. It cannot be contained there even though it germinated in its soil. We know that catholic means universal, but a fresh and deeper examination of the word’s etymology reveals a concept-complex (Law of One term) signifying an active stewardship of wholeness complexifying into more wholeness. The great joy, power, glory, honor, and responsibility of being catholic, in this sense–the sense in which the word was meant to signify–is to be a wholly willing agent of God’s own becoming; to proclaim my “Mary’s ‘Yes’” as I become another mask through which the Creator sounds Its eternal Word: “Enflesh!”
“The word catholic,” Franciscan sister, Ilia Delio, writes, “means ‘through-the-whole’ or ‘throughout-the-whole’ like yeast that leavens bread. The word catholic connotes an active presence of ‘whole-making’ or leavening the stuff of life to create a greater whole.” [1]
We are indeed talking about universal principles of how the Creator as the “I Am” creates, as well as the nature of the process of all that eternal creating. My speculation goes like this:
“Yahweh” is the codeword for the nature of the Creator that means, “God Is by expressing Godself in power, glory, might, and deed.” Perhaps we could see this as Ra’s notion of the Creator’s Original Thought as being manifested.
“Emmanuel” is the codeword for the Creator’s nature that means, “God Is by being in this with you.” The Creator’s Original Thought as manifested and the Creator’s Original Desire (that all entities reconcile themselves to one another) as conceptual.
“Mary” is the codeword for the nature of the Creator that means, “God Is a mediatrix: by receiving Godself in vulnerability, humility, mutuality, and participation—and the vessel through which new forms of consciousness are birthed.” Original Thought as manifested and is the means by which the Original Desire becomes manifested.
“Jehoshua” is the codeword for the nature of the Creator that means, “God Is by being in this with you by living through you, in you, as you, in accordance with the Original Desire that all entities reconcile themselves and become one.” Original Thought as manifested and Original Desire as manifested.
“Holy Spirit” is the codeword for the nature of the Creator that means, “God Is by both expressing and receiving Godself in an eternal experience of wholeness processing into greater wholeness.” This is the Law of One.
Thus, the Christian revelation concretely expresses these above universal archetypes in, through, and as specific historical people with the aim of catalyzing the manifestation of the Original Desire in this complicated and wonderful planetary consciousness–that all of us can reconcile our inner lives in accordance with integrity, and reconcile ourselves externally to one another efficiently and harmoniously enough so that we might finally mature out of our fixation with the cycle of attack and revenge and into green-ray, universal love and holistic seeing and serving.
The Confederation of Planets in the Service of the One Infinite Creator is the positive-polarity group that has served third-density on Earth since the beginning. They have one purpose: to aid us when we call.
Over time, as the complexity of our social-complex has evolved, their service has attempted to evolve according to a cosmic spiritual algorithm which is infinitely complex and accounts for karma, law of responsibility, seeking levels, distortions, polarization and polarization levels, freewill protection, etc. This complex cosmic algorithm, you might say, comes from our Logos, Itself, our Sun. It comes from the next Octave of existence.
Ra is a senior member of the Confederation and their “channel” which was received by the L/L Research Team was narrow band, intense and penetrating like a laser when compared to junior members whose bandwidths used in conveying information to 3rd-density receptionists are more akin to flashlights.
Ra’s desire in giving philosophical information to the L/L Research team, which came to be known as the Law of One material, was to further the ministry of the Confederation–a ministry which had evolved in tandem with our planetary mind’s development and complexity.
Ra affirms Don’s desire to share their communication with others, “However, if it be your desire to share our communications with others we have the distortion towards a perception that this would be most helpful in regularizing and crystallizing your own patterns of vibration upon the levels of experience which you call the life. If one is illuminated, are not all illuminated? Therefore, we are oriented towards speaking for you in whatever supply of speakingness you may desire. To teach/learn is the Law of One in one of its most elementary distortions.”
Here we see that the Confederation’s main task at this juncture in our planetary space/time is to help regularize and crystalize our vibratory patterns as we experience our daily catalysts; catalysts which provide the “daily bread,” as it were, for our digestion of experience and to be used in accordance with our apprehension of our chosen polarity.
I believe that the Jesus Christ Event, which includes all the Marys, utilized Confederation members who may have incarnated as specific people (ie Abraham, Miriam, Moses, Jesus, Mary, Mary Magdalene, Paul, etc) was not initially conceived by the Confederation but rather by the Logos in order to install a logoic-sized forgiveness-thoughtform into our planetary mind with the goal of helping us to break through our collective bellicosity consciousness-knot through the mechanism of forgiveness. The Jesus Christ Event transcended–and included–the Confederation’s mission and ministry.
