The Christ Event, the Crisis, and the Law of Three

by Doug Esse

The following is a dialog between a fellow spiritual seeker and me. They astutely noticed the similarity between words, “Christ” and “crisis.”

Friend: Do you think The fact that “Christ” & “Crisis” Sound so similar Is a Coincidence?

Doug:

This is an interesting point!

“Christ” comes from the Greek word, Khristos, which means “the anointed one;” with “anoint” being “khriein.” This is Greek word for the Hebrew word, rendered in English as “Messiah.”

“Crisis” krinein (to decide) and krisis (decision) is ingressed in Latin for use when having arrived an ultimate point of needing to make a medical decision. Crisis, meaning, “decision point,” began to be used in English in the 17th century. Though I didn’t see any direct correlation when I looked up the etymology of each word, I intuit a connection here.

From my point of view, the Jesus Christ Event emerged as the reconciling force, the third force that resulted from the contrast between the affirming force (Earth’s third-density experience was quickly approaching the end of the Master Cycle [75,000 years]) and the negating force (despite the energies of Wanderers, teachers, and adepts all bent upon increasing the harvest, there remains few to harvest [ref 13.23]).

Ra states in several places that the vast majority of humanity have not developed enough in order to take advantage of fourth density lessons, thus the need to repeat third density–for a planetary population who is comprised of souls who have already repeated third density before.

Both Ra and the Gospels remind us that “the time is now” for making the choice of polarity and developing along the chosen path with efficiency; that the harvest is now. So, yes, we might say that Earth has reached a “decision point”–a “crisis,” as it were. And the way through our metaphysical crisis is to follow the example of the anointed one–the “Christ;” to “put on the mind of Christ,” as Paul says in his letter to the Corinthian community. Paul writes, “For who has known or understood the mind (the counsels and purposes) of the Lord so as to guide and instruct Him and give Him knowledge? But we have the mind of Christ (the Messiah) and do hold the thoughts (feelings and purposes) of His heart” [1 Cor 2:16].

So what are the “feelings and purposes” of the anointed one’s heart? Green ray center activation, of course. Thus one is “born from above,” when one activates their green-ray center to the extent that it becomes a new foundation for a new worldview and living praxis through which one engages the world.
