One Seeker's Perspective on Ra's Notion of Simultaneous Time The Building 4th Podcast

Overview

DeMarcus presented an exploration of simultaneous time as understood through the Ra Material and Q’uo channelings, examining this concept across three scales: the macro scale (the Creator’s experience), the higher density experience, and the micro scale (our personal lives in third density). He acknowledged upfront the inherent difficulty of conveying these concepts through language, quoting Q’uo: “The simultaneous nature of time is a difficult concept to express in your words, for the nature of words themselves is that which works, shall we say, the understanding of time at its heart.”

The presentation was inspired by a question from a previous community meeting about how one can communicate with entities who have passed away—a phenomenon that becomes intelligible once the nature of simultaneous time is grasped.

The Macro Scale: The Creator’s Experience of Time

DeMarcus began with what he called “the fundamental truth”: there is no beginning and no end. This is the Creator’s truth—infinity itself.

The Eternal Present

Nathan offered a helpful conceptualization: the eternal present represents the collapse of all axes—past, present, future, time/space and space/time across all densities—into a single moment. DeMarcus affirmed this, describing it as “the Creator experiencing everything that has happened, will happen, can happen, or has happened at the exact same time.”

He cited Ra’s teaching that “due to the infinite possibilities of intelligent infinity, there is no ending to manyness. The exploration, thus, is free to continue infinitely in an eternal present” (Ra, Session 13.12). This aligns with Dolores Cannon’s distinction that the past, present, and future don’t merely happen simultaneously (which would imply beginning and end) but rather exist simultaneously.

DeMarcus offered a spatial analogy from Q’uo: just as cities and villages across a planet all function and bustle with life at once, so too do all times exist simultaneously in time/space. Ra states this directly: “In time/space, which is precisely as much of your self as is space/time, all times are simultaneous just as in your geography your cities and villages are all functioning, bustling, and alive with entities going about their business at once. So it is in time/space with the self” (Ra, Session 70.12).

Time as Cyclical, Not Linear

Using a circular diagram with densities one through seven arranged around a central point representing the Creator, DeMarcus illustrated that the Creator has 360-degree access to all points simultaneously. Each point on the circle can be accessed from any other point. The Creator experiences both the beginning and end of this universe—and all universes, all octaves—at the same time. Ra confirms that beings from the next octave occasionally interact with our present one.

Why Does Time Exist?

If all is simultaneous for the Creator, why create the illusion of time at all? DeMarcus explained that time was created by the Logos (the active creative mind of God) specifically to allow the Creator to experience itself. Time provides the container for experience. Ra teaches that “time and space have a reciprocal relationship and are allegories or analogs of love and light” (Q’uo channeling). The Creator itself exists outside of time—which is precisely what allows it to experience everything at once while also experiencing the sequential unfolding through us.

The Higher Density Experience of Time

Higher density beings use what’s called “the discipline of the personality” to travel instantaneously to any time or place without need of a vehicle. DeMarcus offered the example of a fifth-density negative entity who, while physically sitting in a cave on a fifth-density planet, could project its consciousness through time and space to attack Carla during the Ra Contact sessions.

In fourth density and above, the average lifespan for a single incarnation can be around 90,000 years—but because time is experienced differently, this may feel to them like 90 years feels to us. The veil is lifted, and the sequential experience gives way to something more fluid.

Ra themselves exist in upper sixth density at a point beyond time, which allows them to be present with humanity at any point—teaching the Egyptians and channeling to Don, Carla, and Jim simultaneously from their perspective.

The Micro Scale: Personal Experience in Third Density

DeMarcus then turned to how simultaneous time relates to our individual lives, where the presentation became, as he put it, “a little trippy.”

The Third Density Construction

We are the only density that experiences time in a strictly linear fashion—past, present, future unfolding sequentially. This is by design. The linear experience of time, combined with the veil of forgetting, creates the focused conditions necessary for processing catalyst and making the choice of polarity. Q’uo explains that “within your illusion, the focus of consciousness has been constructed… in order that the mind complex may grasp in a specific or narrowed function certain lessons, shall we say, or concepts.”

Time as a river—past flowing through present into future—allows for intensive focus. This distortion serves a purpose: “You might learn intensively and with focus and peer review.”

The Speeding Up of Time

DeMarcus addressed the common experience of time seeming to accelerate as we age. Q’uo attributes this phenomenon to incompletely processed catalyst. When we don’t sit in meditation and balance the day’s experiences, the unprocessed material accumulates, and time seems to speed up to compensate—creating what DeMarcus called “an illusion within an illusion.”

Q’uo states: “The more imbalanced an entity becomes, the less possibility/probability vortices may need to be explored in parallel experiences.” This connects the subjective experience of time acceleration to the actual narrowing of our probable futures.

Parallel Existences and the Mind/Body/Spirit Complex Totality

All parallel selves exist simultaneously, like channels on a TV or stations on a radio—all broadcasting at once on different frequencies. These include our incarnations throughout the density cycle as well as parallel lives within each incarnation.

Ra describes the mind/body/spirit complex totality—which exists in seventh density—as “the shifting sands… in some part, a collection of parallel developments of the same entity” (Ra, Session 36.2). This totality functions as a resource for the higher self, providing information about probability/possibility vortices that can inform future life programming.

DeMarcus noted that there can be crossover between parallel existences. Information may come through dreams, creative inspiration, intuition, or information that simply appears in the mind. He mentioned Q’uo’s observation that some aspects of what we call multiple personality experiences may actually be bleed-through from parallel selves accessing different incarnational personalities.

The Higher Self and Probability/Possibility Vortices

The higher self exists at a point in mid-sixth density with full understanding of the accumulated experiences of the entity. It exists outside of time with a 360-degree view, yet it doesn’t manipulate or predetermine—it guides when asked and protects when possible.

Ra clarifies this beautifully: “The seeming contradictions of determinism and free will melt when it is accepted that there is such a thing as true simultaneity. The higher self is the end result of all the development experienced by the mind/body/spirit complex to that point” (Ra, Session 70.11).

DeMarcus illustrated this with a diagram showing the higher self able to access experiences from any density. If one calls upon the higher self for guidance regarding wisdom, for instance, the higher self has access to the fifth-density wisdom experiences and can package appropriate guidance in a form comprehensible to the third-density mind.

The higher self works with probability/possibility vortices—the many possible futures that branch from each moment. There is no single definite future. When Ra was asked about Earth’s transition to fourth density, they could only give a range (one to 700 years) because free will choices continuously generate new vortices.

Discussion and Integration

Doug’s Theological Question

Doug raised a challenge: if the Creator is “a protein entity which learns upon the macro scale,” how can it learn if everything is simultaneous? Learning implies development over time.

His tentative resolution: the higher self and the Creator experience unity and wholeness while still receiving experience sequentially from third density. It’s as if the higher self is a large container that we in third density fill with experience—immediately assimilated in wholeness by the higher self, but still received as it unfolds from our perspective. The Creator is almost “a slave to space/time” in that it has allowed linear time to actually unfold.

Doug used the metaphor of a waterfall: from a distance you see the whole thing at once, but the water itself is actually falling through. The higher self sees the whole while we experience the falling.

DeMarcus’s Response

DeMarcus suggested that development and learning occur within the illusion of time. The Creator experiences development through us, through the Logos’s creation of time as an experiential container. On the zoomed-in scale, we experience second by second; on the zoomed-out scale, everything has already occurred. Both are true simultaneously.

He cited a Q’uo teaching that the Creator, located in our indigo ray or third eye chakra, is watching and learning through us in real time—while on the zoomed-out perspective, we’ve already completed the entire octave.

Nathan’s Contribution

Nathan offered an analogy using AI: the mind/body/spirit complex totality seems to be rendering all simultaneous lives like an AI generating all possible outputs from a prompt. Every path not taken gets rendered out in some alternate reality, all the way through, and that information feeds back into the totality. Since the Creator is infinite, all these paths exist as available options. That’s why experience feels seamless—there’s no “loading screen” because every possibility is already there.

DeMarcus affirmed this as an excellent description of how it works.

The Paradox of Choice

Nathan also raised the question of free will versus determinism. If everything already exists, do we really have choice? His working theory: we’re selecting from parallel lives and probability/possibility vortices moment to moment. The choices are real even though all possibilities exist—our selection is what generates the different outcomes.

He shared a personal example: if his father hadn’t put down a cigarette pack and lighter in a break room, he never would have discovered he’d served on the same Navy ship as another man, they never would have become friends, that friend never would have taught Nathan to build computers, and Nathan’s whole life trajectory would have been different. These “butterfly moments” represent genuine choice points even within a simultaneous framework.

Practical Application

Doug asked how this understanding has informed DeMarcus’s daily life. DeMarcus shared several applications:

Engaging the Past By contemplating the simultaneity of time and mentally drawing on his past, DeMarcus began experiencing memories he had completely forgotten—random sentences, sounds, and experiences surfacing. This suggests that actively engaging with the concept opens access to what exists simultaneously.

Dreams as Future Access DeMarcus experiences frequent déjà vu, particularly with dreams that later manifest exactly as dreamed—sometimes years later. He shared a recent dream of driving to the Las Vegas Strip from a vantage point he’d never seen before, followed by an invitation to drive to Vegas within 24 hours.

Quantum Leaping Since the version of yourself you want to become already exists in a parallel timeline, shifting to that version becomes a matter of aligning frequency and behavior with that version of self—doing what that version would do until the timelines merge.

Troy’s Perspective

Troy, drawing on his experience as a hypnotist, noted that the places visited in past-life regressions “really exist”—they’re not metaphors but actual locations frozen in time. The past still exists, and hypnotic regression work may actually be reworking the past, not merely revisiting memories. This amplifies what’s possible in healing work.

DeMarcus extended this: are memories merely recollections, or are they us actually looking at the past as it exists simultaneously with our present? This question has occupied him for months.

Film Recommendations

DeMarcus used scenes from Interstellar to illustrate simultaneous time. In the film, the main character enters a fourth-dimensional tesseract where different points in his life exist as physical locations he can move between. He’s able to influence his past self by knocking books off a shelf—an event his daughter eventually recognizes as communication from her father across time.

Doug recommended Arrival as another film that powerfully depicts the past and future coinciding, creating an experience of just how disorienting and beautiful these concepts become when lived.

Closing

DeMarcus concluded with appropriate humility, acknowledging that simultaneous time exists beyond our third-density understanding. The presentation was offered not as expert teaching but as shared exploration of a concept whose true nature our current consciousness can only approximate.

Troy offered a closing prayer blessing the group for “these mind-building experiences” and praying for DeMarcus’s effort in preparing the presentation.

The community will skip the following week for Christmas and reconvene the week after for Sharing Catalysts and Prayer Intentions night.
