Ra says that the heart of disciplining the personality is threefold: One, know yourself. Two, accept yourself. Three, become the Creator
(see below for the whole quote)

I have worked as a mental health therapist for more than twenty years. My approach is eclectic and when I find something that works at the conventional level and metaphysical level, I use it. Here is a mediation that I use myself and share with others that I believe to help us know ourselves, accept ourselves, and become the Creator in a way that is understandable for our third-density minds.

Shame is the most common feeling that most humans experience. As Brene Brown defines it, “It’s the intensely painful feeling that we are unworthy of love and belonging.”

I have argued that shame is our core emotion that we feel when we experience a moment(s) of not being cut off, separated and deemed not good enough, that we don’t belong until we do something to make it right.

Shame is like a burning fire that heats the face, the ears, and the heart. It can lead to anxiety attacks.

And shame can be all encompassing so that we find it hard to get through the day without feeling so wrong… like we want to hide.

I still feel shame ambushes from time to time but thankfully, they don’t last long and I can transmute the hostile sick-heat of shame into blessing and gratitude. I use the catalyst of shame efficiently enough to awaken momentarily into Creatorhood and from that seat of awareness, bless the world. The fruits are peace, perspective, love, and belonging.

Here are the 7 steps I use:

I’ve adapted this method from the work of Dr. Kristin Neff, PhD (https://self-compassion.org)

There are seven steps:

1) Realize that you are “in shame.”
2) Name that you are in shame (say out loud your to yourself, “I feel shame.”)
     a) Stay in the present moment, in your body.
     b) stabilize your awareness strongly so that you don’t get dragged back into images of pain
3) Fully accept that you feel shame. Be aware of bracing against versus embrace. Embrace your role as host that creates space for the energy of shame
4) Speak to yourself the way you would with whom you have warm relationship
     a) validate and normalize your feelings
     b) demonstrate that you are in solidarity with yourself.  Create a subject-to-subject dynamic inside yourself.
5) Open your heart to the world and all of the people right now that are feeling shame or whatever that you feel.  Be in solidarity with them.  Tell them that you see them. You are in it with them; that you understand them.
6) Breathe in and bless yourself. Breathe out and bless them.  Repeat for as long as you want
7) You are now diffused from the energetics of shame (or whatever else). Be aware that there will be temptations to start thinking about that “thing” that caused you to feel shame.  You have learned that you have agency over the focus of your attention.  With dignity and integrity, stabilize your focused awareness into the present moment, and dive into doing the next right thing that is  life-giving for you and for others.

74.11 Questioner: Now, what I am trying to get at is how these disciplines affect the energy centers and the power, shall I say, of the white magician. Could you, will you tell me how that works?

Ra: I am Ra. The heart of the discipline of the personality is threefold. One, know yourself. Two, accept yourself. Three, become the Creator.

The third step is that step which, when accomplished, renders one the most humble servant of all, transparent in personality and completely able to know and accept other-selves. In relation to the pursuit of the magical working the continuing discipline of the personality involves the adept in knowing itself, accepting itself, and thus clearing the path towards the great indigo gateway to the Creator. To become the Creator is to become all that there is. There is then no personality in the sense with which the adept begins its learn/teaching. As the consciousness of the indigo ray becomes more crystalline, more work may be done; more may be expressed from intelligent infinity.
